These fiber optic media converter devices can be sed to transmit data well beyond the 100 m limit of copper-based media and provides a secre, EI/RI free transmission path. The media converter nits are designed to accept 10/100 bps SP modles. The SP modles are ordered separately to meet ser reqirements for mode type, distance and type of optical connector. Available offerings inclde mlti-mode fiber () or single-mode fiber (S) models with a single SC connector or dal-fiber with an LC connector. System overview VG4-SPSCKT The VG4-SPSCKT is a niqe media converter modle for se with VG4 series AtoDomes incorporating the (TCP/IP) Commnications odle, as well as with IC Series 550, 550IR, and 612 cameras. This media converter modle is designed to accept any of the 10/100 bps SP modles described below. The media converter modle along with the SP modle is ser installed directly into the power spply box of the AtoDome camera or of the IC camera to provide an integrated fiber optic soltion. Refer to the Installation Gide that accompanies the VG4-SPSCKT for detailed installation instrctions. CNE2C/IN The CNE2C/IN is a media converter device designed to transmit and receive 10/100 bps data over optical fiber sing SP modles. This head-end device is spplied in an enclosre that can be srface monted or rack monted sing the optional C1-IN rack mont card cage. The nit does not reqire infield adjstments, and provides atomatic DI/DI-X crossover. SP odles The selection of Small orm-factor Plggable (SP) modles provides the fast optical interface when sing the VG4-SPSCKT or the CNE2C/IN media converters. These interchangeable SP modles are available for se with or S optical fiber. The optical fiber SP modles are available as one and two fiber versions. They also are available with LC or SC optical connectors.

The C1-IN card cage tilizes an integral, yet field replaceable niversal power spply sitable for 120 VAC to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz operation. The C1-IN nit incldes atomatic self-resetting crrent overload protection, so a falt in any one modle will not case the entire card cage to sht down. C1-BP Closre Panel The C1-BP is a closre panel for the C1-IN rack mont card cage, providing coverage for one rack slot.
