The Bosch line of large premim lodspeakers consists of two sizes; 12 and 1 models. All models featre a two way lodspeaker in a molded ABS VO enclosre. The lodspeakers have a 1 compression driver copled to an impedance transformer with constant directivity characteristics and a direct radiating 12 or 1 lodspeaker. Typical ses inclde fixed installations in aditorims, conference venes, commnity centers, theaters, areas of assembly, factories mltiprpose halls and sports facilities. A self-restoring protection device protects the high freqency driver against incidental overload. The transformer accepts signals between 4 Hz and 22 khz at 1 V or 7 V. System overview The LB3 PC2 featres a 12 woofer and 1 exit compression driver. The LB3 PC3 featres a 1 woofer and 1 exit compression driver. The premim lodspeaker is fitted with a specially designed horn that provides constant coverage independent of freqency. The handle locations and position of rig points are placed to make the lodspeaker easy to carry and align when installing. There is an integrated pole mont on the bottom of the cabinet and a weather-resistant steel grille. All screws and bolts are stainless steel or treated to resist rst. The cabinet has been designed to provide the possibility of monting the lodspeaker close to a side wall or on the floor. The enclosre featres high dampening, is impact resistant and weather proof (sheltered). The LB3 PC2 and LB3 PC3 are sited for locations where high sond pressre, wide band adio is needed and where there is no mains power or where active lodspeakers are not desired, like otside applications or applications where the

The LB3 PC2 and LB3 PC3 have a 1/7 V transformer with power tapping. The speakers are weatherproof (IP44, able to be monted sheltered otside). Fnctions The lodspeaker has two SPEAKON connectors wired in parallel. The inpt from the SPEAKON is available nder a waterproof cover at the rear side of the lodspeaker. To protect against moistre, dirt and tampering a splash proof cover is fitted over the control part of the rear panel. Below the cover yo can find the inpt from the SPEAKON, yo can choose to wire either channel 1 or channel 2 to the ceramic terminal block. Alternatively it is possible to wire E3 wire directly throgh PG11 waterproof feed throgh to the ceramic block (with thermal fse). The lodspeaker has two PG11 locations to enable loop throgh of direct wires. From the ceramic block it is possible to select the speaker tapping. Fll, half and qarter power is available at 1 V and 7 V. The cover has a dedicated location for the EOL (End Of Line) LED, if the Bosch EOL pcb is sed, the Bosch proprietary line spervision set for individal lodspeaker monitoring or line monitoring can also be sed at this location. Internally the lodspeaker has a dedicated notch filter to filter ot a 2 khz pilot tone. This will redce the 2 khz pilot tone. The filter is bypassed by a bridge as standard delivery. Safety featres inclde a thermal fse in the transformer, thermal fse at the ceramic inpt block in accordance with evacation standards and an ato resetting crrent limiting circit between the HF filter otpt and the HF driver. The coverage of the speaker is 9 x 6 (H x V). Wires are connected from the drivers to the metal rear panel, where a hoist/tether point for safety wire is located. Bosch has also developed the Simlated Acostical Feedback Exposre (SAFE) test to demonstrate that the speakers can withstand two times their rated power for short drations. This ensres extra reliability nder extreme conditions, leading to greater cstomer satisfaction, longer operating life, and mch less chance of failre or performance deterioration.
