Introduction Autonet Retail is a B2C e-commerce solution that integrates directly with Autopart for seamless online trading. Autonet Retail is a fully-featured website that allows dealers to sell parts and accessories to online retail customers. It integrates directly with Autopart, providing full support for uploading products and prices and downloading orders and payments. Autonet Retail features a product catalogue with images and can utilise an optional vehicle registration (VRM) parts catalogue to streamline the order process and help minimise errors. Autonet Retail is available as a turnkey solution or can be supplied as individual elements. Page 4 Autonet Retail Booklet

Introduction to the different levels Autonet Retail is supplied at different levels with a range of extras available with each package - allowing you to choose packages based on your specific requirements. MAM Software is dedicated to providing quality customer service and support before, during and after installation. Static Website Our most basic option, before reaching the levels which facilitate online trade, is our Static Website option. Designed to give you some online presence, our Static Website solution gives you a website containing your company logo, contact details, a static About section and a footer with links to your company s terms and conditions, registration numbers, industry standard bodies, etc. Your Static Website can also feature an embedded map so that your customers can easily find directions to your business. Basic - Level 1 Level 1 of Autonet Retail offers a template-based web-design. Orders can be sent directly to Autopart s point-of-sale, and stock and prices can be imported from Autopart periodically. The User Catalogue or Autocat+ Parts catalogue is required to facilitate trade at this level. Standard - Level 2 For level 2, the site is still template-based but allows for a more advanced design. The design can be provided by our web developers for a one-off charge, or you can provide your own design (designed to our specifications). This option includes the Autocat+ catalogue (up to 25,000 lookups per month) meaning you can trade vehicle-specific parts. An optional extra is introduced at this level to facilitate realtime prices and stock updates (not available for level 1 websites). Bespoke - Level 3 The final option is a fully bespoke website for which the price will vary depending on your requirements. Level 3 is the most flexible package, allowing you to purchase functionality to add to your existing website, or have a website created based on your specific needs. Autonet Retail Booklet Page 5

Standard site features The following features apply to the Basic and Standard level websites. All features are optional for the Bespoke level because of its flexibility, and so that you are able to select the features that are most suitable for you. Design All levels of Autonet Retail allow you to select your own design elements. These include the main site colour, link highlight colour, one text colour, your company logo, and your font and font size. The Standard level allows for a more advanced design, while the Bespoke level allows for a bespoke design or features to be integrated with an existing website. All of this means that no matter what level of Autonet Retail you require, you will have your own completely unique web shop. Integrated order placement This feature allows your customers to make product orders directly through your website. For added simplicity, the order will be received for processing directly within your Autopart business management solution. Page 8 Autonet Retail Booklet

Standard site features (Continued) Stock and prices imported by CSV This feature ensures that you can sell the same stock online as you do in store complete with the same prices. This significantly reduces the amount of manual data entry and the updates take place on a regular, periodic basis. An optional extra is available to facilitate stock and price updates in real-time. SagePay and / or PayPal integration Whether buying in-store or online, customers need to know that their payment details are safe. Integration with established and reputable payment processors, SagePay and/or PayPal, will assure your customers that buying from your website is as secure as possible. Please note that you may be required to pay additional SagePay and/or PayPal fees with this feature. Sitemap A sitemap is important for your website because it provides search engines with an easy way to navigate around your site and return relevant pages to do with your potential customer s search criteria. This drives more traffic to your web shop which could lead to increased sales. Autonet Retail Booklet Page 9

Standard site features (Continued) Flexible delivery options As a business that trades online, it s important for you to be able to deliver your products on a national scale. This function will allow you to add delivery charges for regions of your choice, and these charges can vary depending on the size of the order. This allows you to protect your profit whilst still being able to trade to a national market. This function also supports multiple order types, for example, premium rates for next day delivery. Annual SSL certificate When customers are purchasing products online, they need to know that the sites they are visiting are safe and secure. The SSL certificate helps secure every part of your website, including payment transactions, which will be apparent to your customers by the appearance of the https protocol and padlock symbol. Google Analytics Google Analytics is a tool used by thousands that generates details statistics about your websites traffic. It also details traffic sources whether people visit your site as a result of social media, search engines, etc. and measures conversion rates (how traffic compares to sales). You can use this tool to enhance your online strategy and, in turn, maximise profitability. Page 10 Autonet Retail Booklet

Product cataloguing options Autonet Retail provides two options for storing and displaying product data: Autocat+ and User catalogue. In order to feature products with Autonet Retail, one or both options are required. Autocat+ parts catalogue Integrating the Autocat+ parts catalogue into your website is the simplest way to trade vehicle-specific components online. It allows your customers to search for parts via make and model, minimising the chance of ordering errors. User catalogue Increasing the amount of stock you can trade online is an efficient way of generating extra sales. The user catalogue feature allows you to add your non-vehicle specific stock to your website, which could include tools, garage equipment and car care and accessory products. Please note that web export routines are required for this function. Autonet Retail Booklet Page 11

Optional extras Best sellers Getting your products noticed is essential for the success of your business. The best sellers feature promotes your most popular items to your online customers by listing a configurable number of your best selling products on the homepage of your website. Blog functionality Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the key for any website to gain popularity. The blog functionality feature will allow you to regularly post articles such as news and product updates so that you can keep your customers informed. Plus, websites that are regularly updated with new information usually score higher in SEO rankings. Featured products With the featured products section, you can showcase products or product categories of your choice on the homepage of your website. Please note that these products cannot be vehicle specific parts as customers must perform a lookup if searching for a vehicle specific fitment. Incomplete order follow up Sometimes customers need a little extra push to go through with a sale. This feature sends an email automatically to customers in order to entice them to go through with an abandoned purchase. Emails will only be sent to previously logged-in customers who added products to their basket but didn t complete the order, so you can be assured that customers won t be put off your business because of spam emails. Page 12 Autonet Retail Booklet

Optional extras (Continued) Google Shopping feed A company has to consider all sources of revenue in order to get the most out of their business, which is why this feature allows the automatic generation of a Google Shopping feed. Like an RSS feed, the Google Shopping feed will compile a list of all your products, ready to be uploaded to Google Shopping in order to provide you with another outlet to generate extra sales. Please note that this does not include any advertising on Google Shopping, which each user will have to arrange separately via Google Webmaster tools. Marketing email sign-up Email subscriptions are an effective and measurable way to see how many people have shown real interest in your products. With this feature, you can view all of your subscribers from the admin area of your website, and subsequently import the list into email marketing services such as MailChimp. Product datasheets One aspect of good customer service involves letting your customers think about a product before making the decision to purchase. With downloadable product datasheets, customers can save information about the products they are considering, which they can then read through offline. Autonet Retail Booklet Page 13

Optional extras (Continued) Product reviews Even though there are countless powerful ways to market and advertise your products, word of mouth remains the most effective. By adding product reviews to your website, you can let your satisfied customers assure potential customers of the quality of your products. Customer reviews are held in the admin area and must be approved by you before they are visible to your website visitors. Promotions Special promotions and discounts are a great way of enticing sales and generating product interest. Now, you can do this online too by allowing discount codes and promotions on your web-shop. Promotions can be applied to individual products or product categories. Quick pick Customers enjoy buying online because of its simplicity, but sometimes it can be hard for you to have the edge over your competitors. With quick pick, purchasing from your website is made even easier, allowing customers to quickly add products to their basket by simply entering the product number and selecting the quantity. RSS feed It s important to keep potential customers informed when it comes to latest products, news and company updates. The RSS feed feature generates a list that automatically updates itself with all the latest from your company. This can supplement a marketing email sign up as a means of reaching a bigger audience, as customers can subscribe to an RSS feed without having to sign up using personal details. Page 14 Autonet Retail Booklet

Optional extras (Continued) Static page editor With the static page editor, you can upload text and images to create pages on your website. This could be a page to describe a current promotion with a link to the product you wish to promote. Please note that the file manager will be required to facilitate the uploading of images. File manager Working in conjunction with the static page editor, the file manager option facilitates the uploading of files to your website. These files could be text, images, or promotional banners to feature on your static pages. All the files you upload will be saved onto your server, so they will be readily available should you need to use them again. Real-time prices and stock* Our basic Autonet Retail package facilitates periodic price and stock updates. However, this feature allows real-time price updates and stock availability. If your customers are able to see that their desired product is in stock and will be delivered promptly, it could be the deciding factor to make them choose you over your competitors. Trade login If you have customer-specific pricing with trade partners, you ll want them to be able to see their own prices for products on your website. The trade login feature facilitates this by allowing customers to login using their own unique details. Once logged in, they will be able to see their specific pricing as accessed from your Autopart system. The layout and unique design of your web shop will remain the same for these customers - only the pricing models will be affected. *Requires seller services infrastructure.
