4 Scope Small Business Express inc. seeks to have produced a web site to enable a customer landing and information page, portfolio, and an ecommerce web-shop. In scope Web site Portfolio section Sales section for small widgets accounts Social media pages Out of scope, or future phases Spanish version pages Sales section for big widgets International sales Web advertising Solution overview Small Business Express Inc. seeks a web developer to produce a web portal built as per the enclosed requirements. Delivery phases are expected as follows. Invitation to propose This scope and requirements document will be circulated in order to allow developers to ask for clarifications, and make proposals. 5 Design phase A period of time will be granted where invited developers can propose a design. At this time there may or may not be more than one developer selected, and Small Business Express will assess the design and price offer, in order to make a selection for proceeding to development. The design should include wireframes / screen mock-ups, a navigation chart, a user workflow, and proposed hardware, software and network components, developer ability to deliver and projected timescales. ore detail on expectation is offered in the requirements detail. The design phase should propose an hourly rate or other enhancement rate whereby there are additional changes or enhancements outside the original scope. There will be a payment milestone at the end of design phase. Development phase The awarded developer will have a custom Elance project created containing agreed payment and delivery timescale parameters. Testing and Implementation phase Testing As development completion nears the developer may release partial versions of the website for user testing. No signoff or detailed assessment of the requirements being met will be possible until the completed version is released for full user testing. Small Business Express Inc. commits to a maximum 14 days turnaround time for user testing. Implementation of fixes or failures encountered during user testing will increase the elapsed time. Requirements completion review Once user testing is complete Small Business Express will assess the agreed requirements and mark each as ET / NOT ET / PARTIAL. Any mandatory requirements that are not met, or partially met, must be completed or an alternative solution proposed by the developer which is acceptable to Small Business Express. 6 Go-Live Go-live is considered complete when the system has passed user testing and requirements have been signed off. Go-live will include : switching of the small-business-express.com DNS record to the new server ensuring the underlying domain references are correct (developer) a successful production sale under the new domain (made by Small Business Express) Enabling of Google webmaster tools and Google Analytics Confirmation of s from production domain Proving of performance under load Post-sales support The chosen developer will provide for technical support as a minimum an address, and a telephone number as a secondary method. These will be tested as working. Critical fixes (loss of functionality) will need 24 hour response including details of the incident owner. Normal fixes (minor issues) will need 72 hour response including details of incident owner. Requirements Please note the /K/D column. This represents andatory, Key and Desirable. andatory requirements must be met in order for the project to be considered completed and final payment to be made. Developers may apply to have a status or requirement changed, or removed, after project acceptance, but it is at the discretion of Small Business Express inc. Key requirements must be met, or an alternative solution offered that is acceptable to, and approved by Small Business Express inc. Desirable elements do not have to be met but indicate a design guide, or an opportunity to add value over a competing bid.
