3 1 Who is Roosterly? Roosterly is a social media management service that gathers, curates, schedules and posts content to your social media profiles. It s simple and easy to sign up online. Our technology allows our team to quickly find content that s best suited to our clients and keep their social media profiles fresh and engaging with thoughtful third party curated content. 4 2 What is the Spread the Word Roosterly Referral Program? The Roosterly Spread the Word Referral Program is for people who are interested in recommending Roosterly products to their contacts. 5 3 How does it work? When you sign up, you ll get your own personal account where you can access a set of links that are completely unique to you. Share these links with your clients, friends and/or colleagues and when they sign up as a Roosterly customer, we ll send you a payment.
6 4 How much money can I earn? Roosterly pays monthly recurring commissions You will receive 10% monthly recurring commission for the first months or until the client subscription discontinues, whichever comes first. o if you refer people and they all sign-up for a paid subscription at $77/month, you will earn $770 per month.
7 5 What do you mean by a successful referral? A successfull referral is a person or company who has clicked your link and gone on to become a paying Roosterly customer. This means they have clicked your link, signed up for a free demo and subsequently converted to buying the Roosterly software. The rewards payment will be credited to your account once they have paid their invoice. 6 How do I get paid? We currently use PayPal to reward you with your payments, so you ll need to have a PayPal account to receive them. Simply sign into your referral account; in the top right-hand corner of the homepage, click on the dropdown and choose Account. Once in your account, there s an optoin to enter the email address you use for your PayPal account. After you ve entered your email, we ll be able to make payments directly into your PayPal acount. The funds will be added to your account on a monthly basis.
8 7 How do I get started? he first step is to sign up for a free referral account at: http://roosterly.getambassador.com ou will then receive a confirmation email together with your account details It s simple to refer Roosterly from within your account. ou can choose a specific campaign that will take people to a form page to sign up for a free demo when they click. Sharing your unique link: Once you ve chosen your campaign, you ll see the sharing options. Each option is pre-populated with your unique link, depending on which campaign you ve selected. When selecting the email options, simply type in the chosen recipient, amend the message and send. There is also an option to import contacts from Yahoo or Google mailboxes. You can also share your link on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Simply choose your preferred method, amend the message and send or post. If you use Twitter, keep your message to around 110 characters to leave space for the program to add your unique link at the end. If you prefer, you can simply copy the unique link from the campaign URL and paste it into any of your own communications or integrate it with a website.
9 Placing referral banners on your website: Within your account, on the left-hand menu there is an option for Assets. Select this and you ll be presented with a range of banner ads for Roosterly. To the right of each banner is the HTML text required. Important! You need to copy and paste your unique link into the HTML code so any customers that click your banner will be linked to you; this lets you receive your commission if they become a successful referral. o find the unique R for any campaign, follow the simple steps below. Step 1 Step 2 Choose the campaign you wish to use from the dropdown near the top of the Assets page. Once you have chosen the relevant link from the dropdown, copy the http link or ampaign R in the field to the left of this. It should look something like this: Step 3 aste the ampaign R you have copied between the first set of quotation marks on the HTML banner text, in orange as below. Your HTML banner text is now ready to be copied onto your website.
10 Viewing Commissions: On your home page or dashboard, you can also see how much money you re earning or have earned. The dashboard shows the following information: Earned: This is the total amount of money you ve earned to date from successful referrals. Paid to Date: This is the total amount of money that has been paid into your PayPal account to date. Awaiting Approval: This is the total amount of money that has been earned and is awaiting approval. Awaiting Pay-out: This is the total amount of money earned via a successful referral that remains to be paid into your PayPal account. Tracking activity: You can also track any clicks you may receive on your unique links to inform you of how much interest you are getting and which campaigns, timings and social media/email channels are working best for you. Simply click on the stats tab on the left-hand side of home page. Rewards and pay-outs: From the same left-hand menu, you can also monitor individual rewards and pay-out data. The system will send emails to your account email address when: You earn a reward: Please note this means a reward amount has been added to your account. It does not mean this has been physically paid into your PayPal account. You are paid a reward: This means that any outstanding rewards recorded in your account have now been paid into your PayPal account.
