With the newsletters published once in two months we will inform you from now on about the latest developments on the HR market. Particular focus will be given to Germany, Western and Eastern Europe and, of course, to Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Central Asia. We will provide you with surveys and statistic publications in the field of Human Resource Management introducing new services and ideas for the HR Managers in various companies. In addition, we will present you one of our Kienbaum International offices in every newsletter. In the current one we will start with our colleagues from Warsaw. Two industry rankings recognize Kienbaum as the leading provider for HR and organizational consulting services. This year s consulting industry report by brand eins Wissen and Statista places Kienbaum at the first place for HR consulting and organization, while Kienbaum also defends last year s top spot as the best executive search provider in the ranking of FOCUS Spezial. Jochen Kienbaum, Chairman of the Executive Board of Kienbaum Consultants International, has a reason to celebrate: These top results show us: Our competitors and our clients know what makes us unique and what our special strengths are. People and organization are the key success factors for private enterprises and public institutions alike and these are the two categories that our Kienbaum consulting concept revolves around. The business magazine brand eins Wissen teamed up with the statistics portal Statista for the third run of its detailed check-up of the consultancy industry in Germany. For the purpose, they asked about 1,500 executives of large consulting businesses and approx. 1,500 clients which consultants they would recommend, distinguishing between different sectors of industry and consulting services. FOCUS and Statista spoke to just under 3,000 HR managers and candidates about their experiences with HR consultancies (FOCUS Spezial Issue 5/2016). Kienbaum Salary Forecast 2016: Salaries in 26 Selected European Countries including Russia Economic Trends in Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans Most nations in Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary, as well as Turkey expect a definite boost in the growth of their national economies. Projected GDP growth rates in these countries ranges from 1.9% to 3.9%. Helped by reduced unemployment and comparatively high increases in real-term salaries in the last few years, private domestic consumption has been powering the economic recovery of the region. Bank lending and commercial investment still remains cautious, and growth rates will still remain far behind the records of the pre-crisis period. This applies in particular to Balkan countries like Bulgaria and Croatia, where forecasts again predict a growth rate of only one percent in 2016. The economic recovery is hamstrung by high national debt, slow reforms to labour markets, and the strong reliance on ties with

The general economic weakness and the still low energy and food prices have kept the rate of inflation in the Balkans, but also in Poland, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary at -0.5% to 0.8% in 2015. The low price of oil has also kept inflation down in Turkey in the same period. Oil prices and the sanctions in response to the Ukraine crisis has pushed Russia s economy into recession in 2015, which can be expected to continue into 2016. The high price of food and the massive depreciation of the Rouble have led to an inflation spike in Russia. Gosia Cyganowska: Kienbaum Poland was established in 1998, which translates tonight on 20 years of presence in our local market. This is a great platform for us to keep expanding our clients base, our business, and our office. On top of that, our priority is to develop our local clients. On the other hand - we already have had first successes signing EMEA level framework agreements with new clients for Kienbaum and exporting our business to other markets. At the same time, we remain highly interested in continuing our relationship with key German and other large European or US accounts, where our ultimate focus would be to deliver top-quality services and a long-lasting and sustainable business. Gosia, how are you developing the international cooperation with the other Kienbaum offices? Gosia Cyganowska: I am a strong believer in best practices, collaboration, and an international culture of working together. I can say that Kienbaum is a great and entrepreneurially spirited company.
