How to reset pssword This Quick Reference Guide shows you how to reset your pssword if you hve forgotten it. There re three wys to reset your SingPss pssword: 1) Online 2) Vi mil 3) In person t SingPss counters Steps List Links / Screenshots 1. RESET PASSWORD To reset your pssword online, go to the SingPss website. (https://www.singpss.gov.sg/) () Click under the Services tb on the homepge. Plese note tht you will only be ble to reset your pssword online if you hve registered your preferred mode of contct nd hve set up your security questions nd nswers. This function llows you to reset your pssword immeditely.
2. Red the following instructions before using the Reset Pssword e-service. Enter the following detils: () SingPss ID (b) Full Nme (c) NRIC / FIN number (d) Dte of issue of NRIC or FIN (e) Verifiction code (f) Tick the checkbox to gree with the Terms of Use. (g) Click Next to proceed. b c d e f g 3
3. () Enter the nswer to one of the two security questions tht you hve set up previously. (b) Click Next to proceed. Note: Answer to the security question is not cse sensitive nd your ccount will be locked from the Reset Pssword function if you fil this step twice. b 4
4. If your nswer to the security question is correct, One-time Pssword (OTP) will be sent to your preferred mode of contct, either vi SMS or emil. You should receive this OTP within one minute of your request. If not, click on the Resend OTP link to request for new OTP. ) Enter the 6-digit OTP. b) Click Next. b Plese note tht this OTP will expire within five minutes of receipt. 5
5. () Enter your new pssword twice. (b) Click Submit button to proceed. Note: Plese note these guidelines when setting your pssword: Pssword cnnot be the sme s User ID Pssword to be between 8 24 lphnumeric chrcters, preferbly contining upper cse letters nd symbols, with t lest 1 letter nd 1 number. Common psswords re disllowed, e.g., pssword123, pwd12345. b 6
6. You hve successfully reset your pssword. You cn now proceed to log in with your new SingPss pssword. You will receive n SMS or emil notifiction to inform you of this pssword reset. A notifiction letter will lso be miled to your registered ddress within four working dys for locl ddresses to inform you of this pssword reset. It will tke longer thn four working dys for overses ddresses. () Click Ok. 7

Enter the following detils: () Full nme (b) NRIC/FIN Number (c) Dte of issue (s innric or FIN) (d) Registered postl code or pssport number (e) Verifiction code (f) Tick the checkbox to gree to the Terms of Use. 10. After verifying your detils, your online request is completed. You will receive SMS or emil notifiction vi your preferred mode of contct to inform you of this request. A notifiction letter will lso be miled to your registered ddress to inform you of the successful online request for pssword reset. A PIN miler with temporry pssword for one-time use will be miled to your registered ddress within four working dys for locl ddresses. Plese note tht it will tke longer for overses ddresses. After receiving your PIN miler, log in to your SingPss ccount using this temporry pssword.. () Click Ok to exit confirmtion. You re required to replce this temporry pssword. 11
