E-signatures and New User Accounts
New User Accounts E-signature The creation of a new user account is essentially the same. The only exception is the addition of the fields added at the end of the Create Account page. Any time participants, either new users or existing account holders, answer their secret questions, they must have control of the computer and be able to respond to the questions in private.
New User Accounts E-signature At the bottom of the Account Information page, new users will be asked to answer three secret questions for security and e-signature verification purposes. At this point, new users will have control of the computer to enter their answers confidentially.
New User Accounts E-signature After answering the secret questions, new users will select Create Account to enter their Work Interest and Personal Characteristics self-assessments.
New User Accounts E-signature If new users choose not to answer the secret questions at this time, they can select Create Account and continue with the creation of their account.
E-signatures and Existing User Accounts
Existing User Accounts E-signature When participants with an existing JobReady account log in, and they have not yet provided answers to their secret questions, they will see the following message. They will see this message each time they log in until the security questions are answered.
Existing User Accounts E-signature If they select OK, they will be taken to the screen to input their answers. They then can complete the answers and select Continue. Or they can choose to cancel this transaction and return to the user dashboard. Participants must have control of the computer to confidentially enter their answers.
Existing User Accounts E-signature From the user dashboard, they can select Cancel and can continue working in the JobReady system.
Existing User Accounts E-signature If they later decide to enter the answers to their secret questions, they can select Edit Account and add their answers.
Job Ready Administrators E-signature Only the JobReady manager or a super administrator can enter the e-signature security question answers for Experience Works staff and participant assistants with administrator privileges.
IEPs E-signature Not Required - Initial IEP
E-signature Is Not Required - Initial IEP When you create a new IEP, the following Attention notice will appear at the top of the page. New IEP default = no
E-signature Is Not Required - Initial IEP If you respond no to both questions, you will see the following message.
E-signature Is Not Required - Initial IEP If you select yes for the second question, continue to develop the IEP and submit a signed hard copy of the signature page to the Customer Service Center.

E-signature Is Required - Initial IEP If it is determined that an e-signature is required, select yes. When you select yes, the second question changes.
E-signature Is Required - Initial IEP If you select no for the second question, you will see this: Participants will need to log in as the user and enter their secret question answers, and/or the administrator will need to contact the JobReady manager or a super administrator to have their secret question answers entered into the system.
E-signature Is Required - Initial IEP When the secret question answers for both the participant and the authorized administrator are in the system, select yes and continue with the normal IEP process.
E-signature Is Required - Initial IEP As you complete the IEP, you will see the following disclaimer message:
E-signature Is Required - Initial IEP Participants will e-sign their IEP when 1) they select the secret question and Signature is date stamped 2) they type in the answer or response. The participant has control of the computer and is able to e-sign privately.
E-signature Is Required - Initial IEP Authorized administrators will e-sign when they 1) select their position title, 2) select their secret question, and The authorized administrator has control of the computer and is able to e-sign privately. 3) type the answer or response. Signature is date stamped
E-signature Is Required - Initial IEP If an invalid answer is given, the following alert displays: There is no limit to the number of times the security answers can be incorrect.
E-signature Is Required - Initial IEP Once both the participant and the authorized administrator have answered the security questions correctly, select Save to complete the e-signature process. The e-signatures will display at the bottom of the IEP.

Editing IEPs With E-signatures From the User Outcomes screen, you can determine whether an IEP has been e-signed.

Editing IEPs Without e-signatures Determine whether an e-signature is required. Compete the IEP edit, e-sign if required, and make the appropriate selection.
IEP User Summary Report E-Signature Once the report is open, you will be able to see participant names, ID numbers, date of IEP entry, and whether the IEP has been e-signed. This is just an example. The actual report may be formatted differently.
