There are several opportunities to take the next step to a Sheridan degree program as well. Advanced Diploma Technician program delivered by Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology (MTCU 50505) will be eligible to apply to enter the 2nd year after having completed one bridging course. Successful applicants will have graduated with a 3.0 (i.e., B or 70%) or better. Beginning in Fall 2016 (with one bridge course having been completed in Winter 2016) - Graduates who have completed the 3 year Ontario College Advanced Diploma in any Computer Systems Technology program delivered by Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology (MTCU 60505) will be eligible to apply for entry into the 3rd year with a GPA of 3.0 (i.e., B) or better. Two bridging courses will need to be completed before semester five and two more completed before semester seven. Advanced standing will be assessed course by course, on and individual basis. Closely related courses and a gap analysis similar to that used for the advanced diploma program will be conducted. For example, students who have finished two years of a Computer Science of Software Engineering undergraduate degree at the degree level would fall into this category.
