2012-2013 Full Time MBA Employment Report Introduction We are delighted to be able to base our results this year on information about 100% of the class and are proud to report that 83% of those looking for roles had achieved this within 3 months of graduation. The Cranfield MBA class of 2012-2013 have been an extremely proactive group, connecting with the Career Development Service from day 1 of their Programme. This has been reflected in their post Cranfield employment results. The major employment destinations are Financial Services, Management Consultancy and Energy and Utilities. 17% of the cohort started their own businesses reflecting Cranfield s growing status as a leading centre for Entrepreneurship. These figures are consistent with the previous cohorts and maintains the reported 50% increase of last year s Financial Services placements. EMPLOYMENT FUNCTION Cranfield s strength as a General Management school for future leaders is reflected in this year s data, with 26% of students securing Senior Management or Director level positions within General Management. Consultancy continues to be a popular choice with 17% of students securing roles within leading firms, while Entrepreneurship has risen to 17% - an increase that denotes more students are launching new businesses.
