viii. Possible use of small alcove in room 209 for commuter space including microwave, lockers (?), vending machine, prep space for food ix. THOUGHTS 1. It s a student center, like the library for studying 2. Want a space that is not overwhelming with everyone around 3. Like the two ideas convert small space 4. See how it works for Spring semester and make larger spaces 5. Mix the two 6. Love the idea of keeping the Stern for the women 7. Also have men who come here 8. See how traffic flows with the George Street facility 9. What will hours be of the new facility? x. Three main options for space 1. Fitness Center 2. Meeting space and lounge space 3. Stern Center Art Subcommittee Proposal September 5, 2013 1. First theme will be Campus Photography Due Monday Sept. 23rd by 5 P.M. Need to look out where they can turn them into. Front desk box for drop-off Artist will provide what will be hung create a form with name of artist and name of artwork Label need contact information Major and where they are from Medium of artwork We will choose ones to go up Tuesday Morning 24th and put them up that week. How to hang them: command strips any framing ideas? We want this complete by Friday for family weekend 2. Second group of art will be due by November 4th by 5 P.M. will be hung by November 10th need to pick a theme 3. Theme ideas for the future: international graffiti pop art statues sculptures pencil collages paintings recycled art sustainability graphic design poetry wall faculty only month America (last them for the summer?) nature 4. Create a website page under stern center and include the following: suggestion form for future themes gallery of chosen artwork
