1. Introduction The ICOS Accounts Online system allows you to view details of and produce statements for your ICOS prepaid account. It also allows you to top up your prepaid account online using a credit or debit card. You need to use the website login name allocated to you by the Northern Ireland Courts & Tribunals Service which is associated with your ICOS Account. This login requires a username, password and PIN to access this service. If you are currently using your ICOS Account for our other online services then you will already know these details. If you don't currently use your ICOS Account for other online services, call the ICOS Team on 028 9072 8830 who will setup your username, password and PIN for you. The account details available to you are updated in real time so you can produce statements which are completely up-to-date. 2. Welcome Screen ICOS Account Online provides you with three options relating to your ICOS Prepaid Account. View ICOS Account Statement you can run an ICOS statement for any period from 1 day to 1 year, up to and including the current date. Credit ICOS Account you can add funds to your ICOS Prepaid Account using a Visa credit or debit card or a MasterCard credit or debit card. View ICOS Account Details you can view and update your ICOS Account address, telephone and email details. Click on the relevant link to access the required service. 3. ICOS Account Statement Enter the dates that you wish to view the statement for. Dates are inclusive and are entered in the format dd/mm/yy. Both date fields are mandatory. If you want to view a statement for one day only, enter the same date in both fields. The period allowed for any statement is from 1 day to 1 year, up to and including the current date. When you have entered the date range for the statement, click on the 'Submit' button. The system will display all account transactions within the date range specified. By default, the system will display a maximum of 50 transactions per page. You can change this by selecting a different value in the 'Number of transactions per page' drop-down. This can be changed to 100, 200, 300 or ALL. If transactions are paged, you can use the page navigation at the bottom of the screen to move to the required page. - 3 -
The following information will be displayed: the report run date the from and to date for the statement shown the opening balance at the start of the from date the closing balance at the end of the to date the statement itself showing the date of the transaction, transaction type and the credit or debit amount You can print the current view of the statement by clicking on the 'Print' button. You may wish to change the number of viewed transactions as the 'Print' button will only print the transactions which are currently visible on screen. Alternatively, you may wish to download the statement to your computer. You can do this by clicking on the 'Download Transactions' button. To return to the previous screen, click on the 'Previous' button. If you want to run another statement, click on the 'Reset' button which will clear the current statement and allow you to enter a new date range. - 4 -
4. Download Transactions Generate File This screen will allow you to generate a file containing your selected transactions that you can download to your computer. The file is in comma separated variable (CSV) format which can be viewed in Microsoft Excel, Lotus 123, Windows Notepad or any other spreadsheet or text application that you have available. Click on the 'Generate File' button to generate the file. Click on the 'Previous' button to return to the previous screen. 5. Download Transactions Download File This screen confirms that the file has been generated and is available for download. Click on the 'Download File' button to save the file to your computer. The file is in comma separated variable (CSV) format which can be viewed in Microsoft Excel, Lotus 123, Windows Notepad or any other spreadsheet or text application that you have available. Click on the 'Return' button to return to the account statement page. 6. Credit ICOS Account You can credit your ICOS account online using a Visa debit or credit card or a MasterCard debit or credit card. We don't accept Maestro cards online but you can telephone the RCJ Front of House on 028 9072 5924 if you want to use this type of card. Enter the amount that you want to credit to our account and click on the 'Next' button where you can enter the payer name and address details and the credit or debit card details. Once your payment had been accepted, your account balance will automatically be updated to include your payment. 7. View ICOS Account Details This section will show you your ICOS account details held by the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunal Service. If you want the details updated, you can click on the 'Update Details' button. Click on the 'Previous' button to return to the previous screen. 8. Update ICOS Account Details This screen allows you to change or add contact information to your account details. Change the required fields and enter your personal contact details and click on the 'Submit' button. This will send an email to our ICOS Team with your updated details. They will update your account details accordingly. Click on the 'Previous' button to return to the previous screen. - 5 -
