Freie Universität Berlin s International Summer and Winter University intense, academic summer program offering more than 45 courses (subject courses + semi-intensive & intensive language classes) mostly taught in English The program uses the vast social, cultural, historical, political institutions and resources Berlin has to offer in study and field trips as well as excursions outside of Berlin small class room settings (15-18 students)

FU-BEST Berlin European Studies Program of Freie Universität Berlin semester / year long program, running September-December (Fall) and January-April (Spring) + optional FUB Sommersemester April- July for students with adequate German language skills 3 semesters in one year Non-language courses taught in English by expert faculty covering cultural studies, art history, comparative literature, the European Union, German and European politics, sociology, psychology, film studies, comparative religion, philosophy No prior knowledge of German needed; language classes at all skill levels
