M2M Controllers CONPROSYS devices are available in two types of M2M devices: an integrated type that incorporates a controller and I/O interface functions, or a configurable type whose controller can be expanded by adding I/O module. Controllers are equipped with the control functions and the firmware. CONPROSYS devices have been designed to be easy to install and wire and allow users to construct control scripts even without any specialized knowledge of programming languages. Up to 32 I/O modules can be connected to the CPU module. Up to 32 I/O modules can be stacked onto the CPU module. These devices can be held in place with screws or installed on a DIN rail. Therefore, data can be relayed from one module to another just by connecting them with a LAN cable. This makes it possible to build a network between modules within a factory at low cost and also makes adding modules to an existing network easy. Daisy-chained modules without a Ethernet HUB Equipped with a mechanism for mounting on a 35mm DIN rail The modules are equipped with a mechanism for mounting on a 35mm DIN rail, which makes it easy to mounted them within a panel. A module can be easily installed and removed just by turning the stopper on the rear on or off. Simply slide modules to install and remove them. Configurable Type CPU: 1 model I/O: 9 models Configurable type modules are available in two types: a type with a CPU model and another with I/O interface functions. Modules with a CPU can be expanded by assembling a combination of the nine models of I/O modules (digital I/O, analog I/O, temperature sensor, and serial communication) to match the application. Stacked units can be installed together on a DIN rail. What's more, modules can be added and replaced while they are installed on the DIN rail. Stack method for easy installation and removal Simply slide modules to install and remove them. This makes it possible to exchange a module while the other modules remain attached to the DIN rail. Modbus/TCP slave function support The "Modbus/TCP slave function," which is the communication protocol standardly used in industrial fields, is supported. This makes it possible to access CONPROSYS devices from controllers such as Modbus/TCP-compatible PLCs. Same Windows API as the F&eIT series Modules can be exchanged while the other modules remain attached to the DIN rail. Devices come with the "API-TOOL," a Windows API that is the same as CONTEC's "F&eIT series" of remote I/O systems with minimal wiring. This makes it possible to create programs in the same development environment as was used for the F&eIT series. (Download service planned.) Mastery of Solutions The M2M controller software in the CONPROSYS Series can be used to easily build an environment for collecting and storing data from sensors and controllers. With support for OPC, the worldwide standard industrial protocol, this software makes it possible to communicate with software made by other companies. OPC Server Software Downloadable from the CONTEC website This software uses an OPC server to convert CONPROSYS communication methods into an OPC interface, which is the worldwide standard industrial protocol used in SCADA and similar systems. This makes communication with SCADA software that supports OPC easy. Simply connect to the controller unit to collect the data and transfer it to the server. PLC High-performance HMI Software "ACTIVE TOUCH" Downloadable from the CONTEC website "ACTIVE TOUCH" makes it easy to build screens just by dragging components. Examples of available components include displays, outputs, and data storage. Screen creation using various standard components and support tools, device association (data linking), and complicated control can all be performed in a program-less manner, reducing development time and providing a rich development environment.
