Step 1: Preparation Site Backup It is recommended to always backup your site files prior to installing any extension. Cache Management Disable all Magento caches. To do this, go to Admin -> System -> Cache Management. Disabling the cache ensures that all extension files are uploaded properly without interruption. Step 2: Installation Download Zip File Download our extension from FreightCenter.com or add extension via the Magento Connect extension marketplace. Extract the zip file before uploading to your server. Upload Extension File Use an FTP client to manually upload files to your server, or contact your website administrator for assistance with placing the files on your server. For best results, upload one folder at a time as to not overwrite any important system files. Place the extension files inside the /app/ folder of your Magento installation. Do not replace the entire /app/ folder with the contents of the extension zip file. The extension files should reside in the /app/ folder along with original files. When installation is complete, refresh or enable your Magento cache(s). 5
