3 1. Installation and Un-installation guide 1.1. How to install the extension What are the system requirements? - An E-commerce store created using Magento - Compatibility: Magento CE x, EE 1.8.x x Steps to follow while installing the extension Installation through Magentoconnect Get Size Chart Popup extension from Milople Magento-extension store: Extract the module package and you will see Milople_Sizechartpopup file inside. Go to System Magento Connect Magento Connect Manager. Log in with your admin credentials and go to Direct Package File Upload tab. Browse Milople_Sizechartpopup file and upload it. Check the screen and the module will be seen installed once you click Refresh from bottom of the page. Click on Return to Admin link from top right corner of the page. Go to System Configuration. Look for Size Chart Popup option under the Milople Extensions tab on the left hand side of configuration. If you find it, then the extension is installed successfully. OR Manual Installation Get Size Chart Popup module from from Milople Magento extension store: Unzip the module and copy the folder structure in your store. Your magento store installation should contain a folder structure like this: -- root/magento/app -- root/magento/js -- root/magento/skin Size Chart Popup module contains a similar folder structure so you just have to copy the module s folders and upload them on server in Magento store installation. Go to the administration area. Log in and go to System Configuration. Look for Size Chart Popup option under the MILOPLE EXTENSIONS tab on the left hand side of configuration. If you find it, then the module is installed successfully Theme Integration If you are using custom theme in your store, you have to copy the layout and template files of our extension into your store theme manually in order to make your theme compatible with our extension. Copy following files and folders as shown below: Copy app/design/frontend/default/default/layout/sizechartpopup.xml file 3

4 and paste it to app/design/frontend/your-package/your-theme/layout/directory Copy app/design/frontend/default/default/template/sizechartpopup folder and paste it to app/design/frontend/your-package/your-theme/template/ directory Copy skin/frontend/default/default/sizechartpopup folder and paste it to skin/frontend/your-package/your-theme/ directory 1.2. Un-installation and urgent deactivation How to uninstall/deactivate the extension Uninstallation through Magento Connect Go to System Magento Connect Magento Connect Manager. Log in with your admin credentials. Find Milople_Sizechartpopup extension from the Manage Existing Extensions tab, select Uninstall from the drop down and click on Commit Changes button, the extension will be uninstalled immediately. OR Manual Uninstallation - Delete files and folders app/code/local/indies/sizingpopup app/design/adminhtml/default/default/layout/sizingpopup.xml app/design/adminhtml/default/default/template/sizingpopup js/sizechartpopup /skin/frontend/default/default/sizechartpopup app/design/frontend/default/default/layout/sizingpopup.xml app/design/frontend/default/default/template/sizingpopup app/etc/modules/indies_sizingpopup.xml app/code/local/indies/support app/etc/modules/indies_support.xml Note: If you have integrated extension in your custom theme, you need to delete respective files and folders from theme How to deactivate the extension in case of emergency Make sure you have uploaded all the files from the downloaded package. Then replace <active>true</active> with <active>false</active> in the following file: app/etc/modules/indies_sizingpopup.xml app/etc/modules/indies_support.xml Refresh the cache from admin panel and if something goes wrong, please submit a Support Ticket to 4

5 If you find something wrong, but still you need to access the Admin Panel, Go to System Cache Management and flush Cache Storage even if it s off. If you are unable to access the Admin Panel, delete all the content manually, resided under the following folders of your Magento root. var/cache/* var/session/* 2. Configuration and effect on front-end 2.1. How to configure the extension - After successfully installing Size Chart Popup module follow these steps to configure it in store. - Open Magento Size Chart popup extension settings page from, System Configuration Configuration field in detail: License and status Field Name Description Input Value Serial Key Enter the serial key given by Alpha numeric value Milople Status Enable/disable the extension Select from Drop down list. Possible values: - Enable for specific products - Enable for all products - Disable 5

6 3. Configuring Size-chart image 3.1. Managing Global size chart image - Global size chart image defines a general size chart image for all the products and categories. - If you have not uploaded specific size chart image for category/product, then globally uploaded image will get displayed How to add global size chart image - Open Magento Sizing Popup extension settings page from, System Configuration Milople Extensions Size Chart Popup. General Settings field in detail: General Settings Field Name Description Input Value Size chart link on Select a size chart link type Select from drop down list. Possible values: - Text - Image - Text+Image Size chart link text color Select the color of size chart link Color picker box Size chart link image Upload size chart link image Image upload Show size chart Whether to show size as image or a through block Upload size chart image Size chart block identifier Upload the size chart that needs to be displayed Enter identifier defined while creating a block Drop down box. Possible options: - click - Hover How to delete global size chart image? - To delete a global size chart image, go to System Configuration Milople Extensions Size Chart Popup. - Select Delete image label available. - Click on save config button available at the right-most top corner of the window Managing Products - The module comes with the feature to have a unique size-chart image for each of the product available at the store. - This enables stores to maintain size chart images for all the different products How to add product size chart image - Go to Catalog Manage Products. Select product from the list or click on Add product. - On clicking on Add Product option: 7

9 Size chart block identifier Effect on front-end: Enter identifier defined while creating static block Text box How to delete product size chart image - To delete a product size chart image, go to Catalog Manage Products click on the product (whose product size image you want to delete) - Select Delete image label available. - Click on save button available at the right-most top corner of the window How to add product specific CMS block? Step: 1 Go to CMS Static Blocks. Fill in the details and specify a unique identifier. Step: 2 go to Catalog Manage Products click on the product for which you want to have CMS block 9

Managing Category - The extension helps store owner to apply a general size chart image to all the products relating to a specific category. - Hence stores can have a separate size-chart image for all the categories available at his/her store How to add category size chart image - Go to Catalog Manage Category. Select or add a category from left side-bar. - Select the category and click on the Category tab available at the top most corner of the window. - Make necessary settings and click on save 11
