ADMISSION INTO THE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION TEACHER PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS Applications to the Professional Education Unit at NAU are submitted between February 1-15 and September 1-15 of each year. Students are required to apply at least one semester before curriculum and methods education courses (History 0: Teaching and Learning History and Geography and History 06: Practicum in the Schools, etc.) are planned (generally applications are done at the end of the sophomore year).
