Wait until the doors unlock, then pull the handle to open. Press the door lock button on either front door handle when the vehicle is off. OPENING THE TRUNK ENGINE START/STOP BUTTON Press the trunk release button under the trunk handle. The vehicle can be on or off. ACCESSORY OR ON MODE Press ENGINE START/STOP once without pressing the brake pedal for Accessory mode. Press it again for On mode. PAIRING YOUR PHONE Use the selector knob to make and enter selections. For LX and HF. Use this method when no phone has ever been paired to the system. You can pair your compatible phone only when the vehicle is stopped. 1. Press PHONE to go to the Phone. A prompt appears. Select Yes. 2. Make sure your phone is in discovery mode. Select OK. 3. HFL searches for your phone. Select it when it appears on the list. If your phone does not appear: Select Phone Not Found, and search for HandsFreeLink from your phone. Connect to HFL. 4. HFL gives you a four-digit code. Enter it on your phone when prompted. The phone is now paired. Use this pairing method when a phone has already been paired to the system, or when you want to pair an additional phone. 1. Press PHONE to go to the Phone. If a prompt appears asking to connect to a phone, select No. 2. Select Phone Setup. 3. Select Connection. 4. Select Add a New Phone 5. Select an empty location for the phone. 6. Make sure your phone is in discovery mode. Select OK. 7. HFL searches for your phone. Select it when it appears on the list. If your phone does not appear: Select Phone Not Found, and search for HandsFreeLink from your phone. Connect to HFL. 8. HFL gives you a four-digit code. Enter it on your phone when prompted. TOUCH ITEMS ON THE SCREEN TO MAKE SELECTIONS. 1. From the Home, select Settings. 2. Select Phone. 3. Select Bluetooth Device List. 4. Select Add Bluetooth Device. 5. Make sure your phone is in discovery mode and select OK. 6. HFL searches for your phone. Select your phone when it appears on the list. If your phone does not appear: Select Phone Not Found and search for HandsFreeLink from your phone. 7. HFL gives you a six-digit code. Compare it to the code that appears on your phone. Connect to HFL from your phone. 8. The system asks if you want to enable options: HondaLink Assist: Select On to enable emergency notification in the event of a collision. LANEWATCH TM Helps you check your right blind spot when you make a lane change to the right. For all trims except LX and HF. HOW IT WORKS When the right turn signal is activated, a camera located in the passenger side door mirror shows the right rear area outside your vehicle on the display. Display Visibility Area LANEWATCH DISPLAY Press the LaneWatch button on the turn signal switch to view a constant real-time display. Press it again to turn the display off. VOICE COMMAND TIPS When the TALK button is pressed, all available voice commands are highlighted in yellow. To bypass the system prompts, press and release the TALK button again to say a command. To hear a list of available commands at any time, press and release the TALK button, then say Voice Help. Speak in a clear, natural voice. Reduce all background noise.
