Advertise at Congress 2016 Maximize your exposure through a range of advertising options! Target the right audience As some of the most avid consumers of information, academics buy goods and services all year round. By advertising at Congress 2016, you can build interest in your programs, products or services, drive traffic directly to your website, build relationships with a community of opinion leaders, and benefit from the following visibility and promotion. Online advertising The Congress website goes live at least 12 months prior to each Congress and is updated in real time leading up to the event. The website is built using responsive design, so all content including ads is easily visible on all types of computers and mobile devices. The Congress website is the one-stop information and registration resource for attendees. Throughout the year, the Federation drives traffic to the Congress website through the Communiqué newsletter, the Federation blog, association websites, Congress Weekly and Daily emails, various printed materials, and a number of social media platforms Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Site traffic is highest from late March to the start of Congress. Peak traffic times on the website are the two weeks after registration opens in January and the week of Congress itself (May 28 June 3, 2016). As a point of reference, from May 1, 2014 to July 1, 2015, the Congress 2015 website had over 118,300 visits, with more than 67,000 unique visitors. All online ads appear on both the homepage and the internal pages throughout the Congress website. They rotate with each refresh of the page. Every ad is given equal viewing opportunity, through the use of automated image rotation. Interior Ad Graphic: less than 50 KB, and exactly 300 x 190 pixels 4. Interior Ad Graphic Tablet/Mobile: less than 40 KB, and exactly 186 x 220 pixels Get your ad in early! Online advertising will run on the website within one week of the receipt of artwork and a signed order form, and will run until Congress. Items will be displayed prominently on the Publications Table in Congress Expo, centrally located on campus in the Jack Simpson Gym. This space also houses the registration area where all 8,000 attendees check in and therefore promises great visibility. You will receive a maximum 2 feet of space at the publications table to accommodate the one item you provide us with for display. Examples include a magazine, brochure, handout, or other printed materials. Volume discounts Purchase an ad in the Congress Guide and on the Congress website and receive a 5% discount. Purchase three or more ads and receive a 15% discount.

In-kind advertising The Federation is open to in-kind advertising arrangements, whereby your organization and the Federation secure online or print advertising space with the Federation, and vice versa. In-kind (or other reciprocal) sponsorship arrangements are negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
