Setting up your Endicia Account. This document covers signing up for an Endicia Internet Postage account, and downloading and installing the DAZzle label printing program. First, go to the Endicia.com website. On the right hand side of the home page, click on the link titled Free 30 day trial! You will be asked whether you are applying for a Windows or Macintosh account. Make your selection on this page. Note: A single account can only be used on a Macintosh or Windows computer it can t be used on both platforms. Next, you will be asked for your company name, contact information, and Physical Address. The Physical address will be used to determine the Local Post Office you will be mailing from. If you want us to send mail to another address if we need to correspond to you, enter that address under Mailing Address. Certify the information you have entered, and click on Continue.
If you want to change the Local Post Office you will be using, Enter the appropriate ZIP code in the field listed below, and click Continue. Now you will be asked for an Internet Password. This will be used to log onto your account on Endicia.com. You will also be asked for an initial Passphrase. The Passphrase is used to log into the DAZzle program. You will also enter a security question and answer combination that will be used by Endicia staff to confirm your identity if you contact us about your account. IMPORTANT: Be careful when selecting the Challenge Question and Answer! If you can t answer the question, we will not be able to help you with your account we won t even be able to close the account!
Your entries will be listed for you to copy down. Write or print these entries, and click Continue. If you are signing up for a Windows account, you will be asked what type of account you want, and if you want to be billed at the end of the month, or a year in advance. Note: Professional can only be charged monthly. If you were referred to us by a USPS representative, or by an Endicia account holder, put their source code or account number in the field labeled Promotion Code. You will now need to enter the payment information for your account. Enter the Billing address and credit card number you want to use for your account. You can only use a credit card to pay for an Endicia account. You will be asked if you want to use the credit card to also pay for the postage, or if you want to use a checking account. If you plan on printing more than $500 per month in postage, we
strongly recommend using a checking account to pay for postage. Enter the routing and account numbers for your checking account, and click Continue At this time, the registration process is complete. You should receive an email with your Endicia account number within 30-60 minutes. If you do not receive your account number, within 90 minutes, you can call us at 800-576-3279 and have us look up your account number. The email will include a link to the download Page, where you can download the DAZzle program. On the Download page, click on the DAZzle Setup link to download the installation program. You can also download Galaxy or Tarantula if you signed up for a Professional account.
You will be asked if you want to run the installation file, or save it to your computer. For best results, we recommend that you save the file to your desktop, and run the program from there. HINT: If you are going to install DAZzle on multiple computers, you can save the installation program to a flash drive or CD- R. After selecting Save, you will be asked where you want to save the file. Select the location you want to save the file, and then click Save. Make a note of the file name. After the program has been downloaded,, either select Run from the download window, or double click on the downloaded file.
Click on OK to accept the Endicia Licensing agreement. For best results, we recommend that you install DAZzle program in the default directory.
Enter in your name and your company s name, and click OK. At this time, the installation of DAZzle is complete. Click Yes to open the Quick Start Guide. Now start the DAZzle. You will be asked to enter your account information. Enter your Endicia account number, and your initial passphrase, and then click on Next.
You will now need to enter a new, permanent pass phrase for your account. For the best security it should be at least 10 characters long, and contain both letters and numbers. Questions? Contact the Endicia Support Line at 800-576-3279, extension 130.
