Funding Your Account There are two options for funding your account: Fund Account allows you to make one-time deposits as needed via credit card or electronic check. Automatic Transfers can be set up so that funds will automatically be taken out of your checking account according to the parameters you set. Please note auto-funding requires a checking account and cannot be set up with a credit card. FUND ACCOUNT Please note the service charge associated with each payment option explained at the bottom of the screen. The service charge amount is based on the amount you wish to deposit 1 of 9

Enter in the amount you wish to deposit on the right hand side next to where it displays your account balance. Now click on Update in middle left. The service charges applicable to each payment option for the amount entered above will display. Select the payment option you wish to use to continue: Process Credit Card or Process Electronic Check. PROCESS CREDIT CARD 2 of 9

At the top of the form, it shows the amount of the charge that will be processed to your credit card. Enter the required information; please note that at this time, we can only accept VISA or MasterCard. Once all information has been entered and reviewed, please single click on the Submit button. Click this once. Do not double click. Your credit card approval code will display at the bottom of the box. You will receive an emailed confirmation of your credit card deposit. After depositing, your account balance will immediately reflect your credit card deposit. The account balance at the school will reflect this deposit once synchronization between web and school takes place. While we ask that you leave 24 hours for the funds to be available, they will often be available more quickly. If you do not see an approval code and/or you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact via email or phone to verify if the deposit went through or not. Please note that as we do not store credit card information, you will need to re-enter your credit card information each time you wish to fund the account. PROCESS ELECTRONIC CHECK If this is the first time you choose to pay by electronic check, you will see the screen on the next page. Enter in your checking account information as required. If you decide to set up auto-replenish you can do so now by checking the Auto Replenish checkbox. Please refer to the next section on setting up Auto-Transfers. After you have entered in and reviewed your checking account information, please check the Submit button under the onscreen check example. Your request will not be sent until you check the Submit button. Your approval code will display at the bottom of the box. 3 of 9

Process Electronic Check Screen If you have made a deposit via an electronic check in the past, when you click on Process Electronic Check option on the first funding screen, you will get the following window instead: 4 of 9

At the top of this screen, it shows the amount to be debited from your checking account. In the section that is currently blocked out will be the last 4 digits of your checking account that you entered previously. If you wish to change the account number, press the Change button and you will be brought back to the original input screen in which to enter and Submit different checking account information. If the checking account on record is accurate, you must hit SUBMIT to process this deposit. An approval code will appear at the bottom of the box and a confirmation e-mail will be sent the e-mail address associated with the account. After depositing, your account balance will immediately reflect your deposit. The account balance at the school will reflect this deposit once synchronization between web and school takes place. While we ask that you leave 24 hours for the funds to be available, they will typically be available in 5 to 10 minutes. If you do not see an approval code and/or you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact via email or phone to verify if the deposit went through or not. 5 of 9

AUTOMATIC TRANSFER can only be done as an electronic check. There is no credit card option for auto-funding. Fill out the required banking information. If you check the Auto Replenish option, this will automatically replenish the account based on the parameters you set next: Balance at which to add funds. This is considered to be the account's threshold. For example: If you enter in $25.00, when the account reaches that balance ($25 or below) it 6 of 9

will begin the process to debit the funds from your checking account to replenish the account. PLEASE READ IMPORTANT NOTE BELOW. Amount to be added to account. Enter the amount that you want debited from your checking account when the threshold above is met. Click the Submit button to accept any changes you make to this screen. If you do not click Submit, no changes will be made to your account. A confirmation of the transaction will be emailed to the email address on record for this MKS account. CANCELLING AUTO-FUND If you decide to cancel the auto replenish at any time, simply un-check the box and click Submit for it to take effect. A confirmation of your cancellation will be emailed to the email address on record for this MKS account after you have hit the Submit button. VERY IMPORTANT **Please Note** VERY IMPORTANT When the account first hits its threshold, you will be sent a notification email that the account will be auto-funded the next evening. The actual debit to your account will occur the following evening, and you will get an additional email confirming when the auto-fund does occur. You can turn off auto-funding in between the first notification email and the actual auto-fund event. Refer above to Canceling Auto-Fund. If auto-funding is enabled on your account and if the bank for any reason rejects the auto-fund, the auto-fund option will be automatically disabled on your account. Therefore, if you get an e-check failed email, this means the auto-fund did not take place and it has been disabled. You will need to access your account, correct whatever error was reported by the e-check failed email, and re-enable auto-funding as directed above. 7 of 9

TO VIEW ACCOUNT ACTIVITY From home page, click on the Summary link next to your child s name. You will see a screen that looks like the one that follows: In the first box, it displays to-date spending and deposits, and the current balance on the account. Note: Your balance is not a real time balance. Your school synchronizes the day s activity with what you see on the web each night, so the balance you see will generally be your child s account balance from the end of the prior day. 8 of 9

Using the arrows in the Month header, you can change the From date calendar to any date you choose, then click on the Update button at the bottom of the calendar to apply the change in date. This will bring up a list of all items the student has purchased for the date range you have selected. REQUEST AN EMAIL OF STATEMENT ACTIVITY From the home page, click on Statements button. On the next screen, you can enable Statement Delivery by checking the box to Enable Statement Delivery as well as setting the account balance amount that triggers a statement to be sent. To request a statement on demand, check the Request copy for current month. After you have entered your Statement Delivery settings click on the Submit button. Statements will not be enabled unless you click Submit. 9 of 9
