All slides must be worded in English only; please copy your work - prepared in PowerPoint - on a CD or USB stick. The Slide Centre will be available for presenters and speakers to preview their slides and to become familiar with audio-visual equipment. Slides should be handed in one hour before the beginning of the session and collected at the end. The use of personal laptops in the Workshop room is not permitted. LUNCH Lunches will be served during the luncheon panels, limited to seat availability. REGISTRATION - BADGE The conference is open to all duly registered participants. General Information ABSTRACT & POSTERS Best Communication / Poster Award A special awards 1.500,00 euro gross will be given to the Best Abstract works selected by the Abstract Selection Committee between accepted oral communications and posters. The winners will be announced during the Best Abstract Award event scheduled for the evening of 16 February. Abstracts must be submitted within December 19, 2016 and sent by e-mail to scientifi c@bk1.it They must be written in English in word format. The Scientifi c Committee will review all the submitted abstracts. The fi rst author will receive notifi cation of acceptance. Abstracts submitted after the deadline might not be accepted. Please choose between Oral Communications and Poster. Format: - The text should contain a maximum of 2.485 characters; use typeface Times New Roman, font size 12. - It is advisable not to include images, while it is possible to enclose graphics - Poster size is 70cm width and 100cm height. Posters will be displayed during the whole meeting in the Exhibition Area, they should be fi xed on February 19, at 8.00 a.m. and removed at the end of the meeting. Material for the poster mounting will be provided. An award for the best poster selected among young authors (under 35 years) will be given. 14
