OVERVIEW This report was compiled using de-identified, aggregate data collected from customers who use Deputy s workforce management software. The segment of customers chosen was those who use Deputy s time and attendance measurement functions to track time and export payroll data for their (largely hourly) workforces. The size of companies involved ranged from under 10 employees to over 700 employees. It represents a comprehensive sample of data on rostered vs actual start times for shift workers across Australia over the last 6 months, covering over 400,000 shifts in 5 of Australia s major cities. The goal of the report is to compare early /on time starts to late starts for shifts across Australia s cities, industries and other key demographics.
