SERVICE DEFINITION: CO-LOCATION SERVICES ITI s Co-Location Service is a service relationship between ITI and the customer, in which customer s IT assets such as Servers/ Routers/ Switches/ storage devices/ security devices, etc. is housed in the facility of ITI for a contracted period against a specified fee. ITI s managed Co-Location Service offers a highly secure, fully redundant, environmentally-conditioned hosting space for the optimum performance of the customer s IT assets. The Service does not include procurement, provisioning and maintenance of customer s servers, equipment, data, and/ or content. Built and offered infrastructure is physically, logically and technically secured, and under monitoring for 24x7. Various value added services are available for the customers on top of the basic Service.
Service Features & Specifications LOCATION ITI s Tier III plus Data Center is situated in Bangalore, which is a naturally safe region of India and lies in Seismic Zone 2 that is considered a seismically safe zone. ENVIRONMENT Redundant Precision Controlled Environment for Air Conditioning and Humidity. RELIABLE POWER ITI gets its power from feeders of state-run BESCOM. This feeder is connected to Redundant DG sets, which in turn supply power to Redundant UPS systems. From UPS system, power is supplied to multiple Power Distribution Units (PDUs). Each rack in IDC gets power from two separate PDUs (on different power panels), so as to offer complete redundancy end-to-end, thus enabling very high uptime of power with minimum downtime. FIRE DETECTION AND PROTECTION High sensitivity smoke detection system (VESDA) and FM200 gas based fire suppression system. BMS Automated Building Management System (BMS). EXCLUSIONS Dedicated Hosting Services While the equipment of the customer is located in the Co-Location facility, they are responsible for insurance and maintenance of their equipment Co-located Client Server. In a Co-Location Service, the Client assumes all responsibilities, directly or indirectly associated with the Client Server Managed Security Services need to be separately subscribed for Value Proposition ITI Data Center Co-Location facilities are fully integrated with carrier-grade, national and global network that provides a fast, reliable and private way to reach your customers offering rapid and secure delivery. CARRIER NEUTRAL ITI offers carrier neutral stand, i.e. while co-locating Servers at Data Center, the customer is free to choose the Communication/ Network partner. The Data Center has connectivity from BSNL, Railtel, VSNL, etc. RISK REDUCTION The Co-Location Service provides an option to the customer to reduce its capital and operational expenditure, move out of non-core business of Infrastructure Management, and reduce IT Management risks while continuing to protect the mission-critical systems. ONLINE MONITORING Our Network Operations Center (NOC) continuously monitors the health of all the components installed in the Data Center (includes customer equipment only if the monitoring Service is explicitly subscribed by the customer) and traffic flowing through the network. MANAGED SERVICES In addition to co-location, IDC offers a range of managed Services as per their requirement of the customer.
