Instrumental times are posted on the music notice board one week in advance. Please note that this is more complex for some teachers due to the small number of pupils they teach and the time they are in school. If pupils know that an instrumental lesson is to be missed they should inform their instrumental or class music teacher as soon as possible. If a pupil s attendance pattern is causing concern then parents will be informed. Teachers will endeavour to find absent pupils wherever possible but please note that it is the pupils responsibility to make a note of their time and attend lessons punctually. Forgotten lessons are non-refundable. EXTRA-CURRICULAR OPPORTUNITIES A large number of pupils each term take part in the lively, enjoyable and high-quality music-making activities offered. Involvement in musical activities has been shown to benefit pupils musical and general academic performance.
