BA in Physiotherapy 3 years (6 semesters) 208 The aim of this specialisation is to educate physical therapist with both vast theoretical knowledge and practical skills, so they could carry out the commonly used treatments within the field of medical rehabilitation. The educational programme is based mainly on gaining complete medical knowledge of physical therapy in the area of therapeutic kinesis (medical training) and physiotherapy (among them: heliotherapy, laser therapy, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, magneto therapy), in such medical divisions as: orthopaedics, neurology, rheumatology, cardiology, gynaecology and obstetrics. Vast practical learning programme is realised within the studies. Among various specific methods are: PNF, Bobath, manual therapy and other kinds of medical massages.
