SBL mconnect is enabled for GSM mobile phones i.e. NTC GSM & NCELL GSM. How does it work? SBL mconnect is available through GPRS and SMS. Can I start using SBL mconnect now! The 5 Digit PIN that you provided in application form is used to login for GPRS Banking. Whereas the 4 digit PIN that you received through SMS is used for SMS Banking. Those two are different PIN for different purpose. Does the temporary 4 digit PIN received through SMS be used for using SBL mconnect SMS Banking? No, the 4 Digit PIN that you received from SMS is just a temporary PIN and gets expires as soon as you get it. You cannot use SBL mconnect using this PIN you need to change it using SBL mconnect application and then only you can use SBL mconnect SMS Banking by using your new changed PIN. Can I access SBL Mobile Banking when I am abroad? You cannot use SBL mconnect through SMS when you are traveling abroad, however you can user SBL mconnect Services using GPRS.
Will it be okay if I change my mobile phone number? If your mobile number has changed, immediately inform SBL. However, You cannot use SBL mconnect services using that PIN, once you receive the temporary PIN you need to change that PIN from our application. What if I forget my MPIN or User ID is locked? You can visit our nearest branch in such cases. After proper verification your ID will be unlocked or your PIN will be reset. You will receive the new MPIN through SMS instantly.

To check that the last transaction made has gone through, you will have to sign on to GPRS after the phone is recharged or switched on. Check the account balance and the record of the last transaction made. What if the mobile banking service is disrupted while I'm transacting via the phone?it is designed to cope with a large number of users and has a back-up system. However, in exceptional circumstances, it may be unavailable while you're using the system.
