How to access ebooks Databases in MII Digital Library

1. Click MII Digital Library in QuickLinks at www.miielibrary.com Click Here

2. At MII Digital Library, click Sign In menu and enter your ID as assigned by Librarian. Click Login button. Click Here Enter ID Here

3. When you have received login notification, click Show All menu. The number at this menu inform how many documents stored in MII Digital Library as per date accessed. Click Here

4. Click ebook at Resource Type Filter (left bar). Click Here

5. Click Online Database at Resource Type Filter (left bar). Click Here

6. Choose the ebooks Databases that you want to access by clicking at the title. Click Here

Using the ebrary ebooks Database

1. Using ebrary ebooks Database Click link provided at Source : - Need to key in separate password which has already been emailed with your login ID. - Call us at 03-2692 8828 or email knowledgecentre@mii.org.my for your ebrary password. Click Here

2. After login, you will be directed to ebrary ebooks Platform. To view available titles, you can click Browse all titles or type relevant keywords in the search box. Click Here

3. Click on the title to read the ebooks online or use the Download button to download the file and read the ebooks offline (7 days borrowing period). Click Here

4. Choose to Read Online or Full Download for offline reading. Click Here

5. Click on the Table of Contents to read the specific chapter. You can also highlight, annotate or use bookmark while reading the books online.

6. For offline reading, after clicking Full Download button, a popup instruction will guide you to successfully download the ebooks. 1 st Choose the device you are using to download the ebooks (Laptop/Desktop, ios or Android devices or Other). For Laptop/Desktop, you need to choose whether you are using your own computer or public.

2 nd - Ebrary will assist you in choosing the right apps to install: i) Laptop/Desktop - Adobe Digital Editions and Adobe ID to transfer ebook iii) ios devices (iphone, ipad, ipod) and Android devices (Phone, Tablet) - Bluefire Reader and Adobe ID to transfer ebook

3 rd - Link to download the ebook

7. Save or open the ebook file in your computer/devices.

8. You will need to authorize your PC to be able to read the ebook via Adobe Digital Editions. This will enable you to transfer the files to other devices that you used under your Adobe ID. If not, you can tick authorize without ID. The file will be available in the installed PC only. Tick Here

8. Click Authorize and you can already open the ebook in your PC. Click Here

9. The borrowing period is displayed to remind users. Once 7 days are up, users cannot open the file anymore.

Using the Ebscohost ebooks Database

1. Using Ebscohost ebooks Database Click link provided at Source. You will be automatically linked to Ebscohost ebooks Platform. Perform Browse, Search or click the ebooks thumbnail to start reading online. Click Here Click Here

2. Use Table of Contents or click ebook Full Text to read online.

3. Click on the Table of Contents to read the specific chapter. You can also highlight, annotate or use Dictionary while reading the books online. But to do this you will need to create or login to your own Ebscohost Account (free) first.

4. To read offline, click Download this ebook. You will need to create your own Ebscohost Account (free). This account will also enable you to use items at the right bar, such as Save, Cite, Export when you are reading online.

5. After login in, click Download this ebook. You can choose how many days to borrow the title (max 7 days). Click Checkout & Download. Again please ensure that you have installed appropriate programs to read the file offline: - PC/laptop = Adobe Digital Editions - ios/android devices= Blue fire reader apps

6. You will receive notification of successful transaction message to open/save the ebook.

7. Your ebook is added in the Adobe Digital Reader and is available to be read offline for maximum 7 days (based on the previously selected borrowing days).

Using the IG Library ebooks Database

1. Using IG ebooks Database Click link provided at Source. You will be automatically linked to IG Library ebooks Platform. Perform Browse, Search or click the ebooks thumbnail to start reading online. Click Here Click Here

2. The ebooks information will be displayed. Click on the Table of Contents to read specific chapter. Click Here

3. You can also highlight, annotate, save or print while reading the books online. But to do this you will need to create or login to your own IG Library Account first.

4. Click My Library menu to login. You can login via Google or Facebook ID to create IG Library account. IG Library does not provide offline access to their ebooks.
