What is Achieve Texas? Achieve Texas is a state education initiative that has been implemented to prepare secondary students and their parents to make informed educational choices. This initiative utilizes 16 federally designated Career Clusters as a foundation for schools to arrange their instructional programs. At TSTC, Achieve Texas Advisors promote technical education to participating high schools under a Title V Grant and utilize the Achieve Texas Plans (also known as Tech Prep Programs of Study or Six-Year Plans) to guide students into a technical program at Texas State Technical College.
