What kind of data will be processed and who will have access to my data? 1.1 The data you submit via the recruitment platform (collectively personal data ) includes your name, contact details, qualifications, and information about your previous employment. 1.2 All your personal data will be accessible to, and assessed by, PMI companies and their service providers. The PMI companies are controllers within the meaning of data protection laws. They include: (1) Philip Morris International Management SA (address: Avenue de Rhodanie 50, 1007 Lausanne, ); (2) the company mentioned in a job posting to which you apply; and (3) any other PMI company with access to the central recruitment database. The companies are based in a number of countries: they include, for example, the USA and Hong Kong; countries other than your country of residence; and (if you wish to apply for a specific job) countries other than the country where the job for which you wish to apply is based. 1.3 The PMI companies engage service providers to support in the recruitment process, and to support the technical processing of the data. There are organisational and technical measures in place to protect your data and to monitor the service providers. 1.4 Your personal data will be treated in compliance with the data protection laws and regulations of the country(-ies) of the relevant controller. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data and keep it secure, and we comply with data retention requirements. 2. How can I access my data? You can access your personal data and correct or delete it yourself online at any time. Alternatively, you can ask the deletion of your file by contacting pmiscehr@pmi.com. 3. What will my data be used for and where will it be stored? 3.1 Your application data will be used to assess qualifications and personal experience to determine if they meet specific requirements of jobs at any of the PMI companies. In each case, the assessment will be performed by personnel who are responsible for recruitment-specific information. The data you submit will be accessible by those personnel (and by relevant technical support personnel), but by no one else. 3.2 Your data will be placed in a central database with a processing company, where it will be kept for up to 12 months unless you request that it be deleted from our recruitment system sooner. If you wish to apply for a specific job, we may keep your data for longer, if this is allowed in the country where that job is based. 3.3 If your application is successful and you are employed by a PMI company, the data you submit will be transferred into PMI s human resources database (which the PMI companies use to administer many aspects of the employer/employee relationship) and which is accessible by some of PMI s HR staff globally.
4. Your declaration of consent If you agree to make it, the declaration is your consent to the use of your personal data as set out in this Privacy Policy, including: - the collection of your personal data by the PMI companies mentioned in paragraph 1.2 above to assess your qualifications and personal experience to determine if they meet specific job requirements (and for the other purposes described in paragraph 3 above) - the transfer of your personal data to the PMI companies and service providers mentioned in paragraph 1 above, for the purposes described in paragraph 3 above. - the processing and use of your personal data by the PMI companies and service providers mentioned in paragraph 1 above, for the purposes described in paragraph 3 above - the transfer by Philip Morris International Management SA of your personal data to PMI companies and their service providers in any part of the world (specifically, this will include countries both inside and outside the European Union, including countries which do not provide an adequate level of protection as specified by EU and Swiss legislation, such as the USA and Hong Kong).
