Breast Cancer Progress and June, 14-15 2013 Hotel Royal Continental Via Partenope, 38 Napoli

Introduction Presidents Giuseppe D'Aiuto Michele De Laurentiis Sabino De Placido Paolo Muto Honorary President Angelo Raffaele Bianco reast Cancer, the most frequent malignancy among women, is a complex and heterogeneous disease. During the last decades, knowledge development in the field has Bbeen astonishing and it has been driving a continuous progress in the clinical management of the disease. If on one hand the pace of such a progress is exciting, on the other hand, its rapidity forces oncologists to a constant debate in the attempt to address the many controversial issues that meanwhile arise. In this dynamic scenario, the first Breast Cancer: Progress and conference, aims at offering at the best Italian and international multidisciplinary experts in the field an opportunity to exchange opinions about major breast cancer topics, to create collaboration on new ideas and projects, to encourage breast cancer teams integration. At the same time, this will put the attendants in a position to receive a high scientific level overview of the state-of-the-art of breast cancer treatment and to deeply perceive the on-going debate on controversial matters. We are confident that you will appreciate this opportunity and we aim at periodically repeating this scientific initiative in the future.
