In 2006, I received funding from SSAAPS to invite Professor Akihiko Tanaka (Tokyo University) as Visiting Fellow at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (May June). In 2000 I assisted Associate Professor Marie Söderberg in organizing a workshop on Sino Japanese relations, which was held at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs in the middle of August that year.
