1 Introduction This manual is designed to introduce you to the PayEx Merchant Administrator System (Merchant Admin) https://secure.payex.com/admin In Merchant Admin you have easy access to various functions connected to your online payment service. Log on to Merchant Admin if you want to credit a transaction or get an overview over the latest transactions or settlements connected to your service. In addition you have quick access to functions such as transaction extract, transaction overview and general settings for your PayEx account. 1.1 How to use this manual Each main section in the manual represents a main category in the Merchant admin: Merchant menu - Shows your merchant profile, info on your payment methods and supported currencies, and a list to see which interfaces/methods you have access to use. Transactions menu - Enables you to manage your transactions in PayEx. Statistics reports menu - Enables you to generate reports of your sales and settlements. Admin user menu - Provides you with functionality for searching for Admin users as well as creating, editing and deleting Admin users. Callback list menu - Gives you the opportunity to search for callback transactions SMS menu - Gives you the opportunity to search for sms transactions, manage blacklisted msisdn numbers and sms keywords All sections have a table where the menu heading and functions available for each function is described in detail. 3 (24)

1.2 Definitions In this manual some general terms are used and the most important are listed in this table. Term Definition Comment Account Merchant account The account is defined with an account number containing seven digits (ex 1122334). Authorized status Reservation of a transaction The amount is reserved on the customers bank account or PayEx account (i.e. booked for capture). An authorized transaction can be either cancelled or captured. An authorized transaction is automatically released after 5 days. After 5 days the authorization is released and the money is no longer guaranteed for capture. It is merchant s responsibility to capture the transaction within 5 days to have the settlement guarantee of the card acquirer. Exactly how many days until the authorization is automatically cancelled depends on the customers bank. Cancel status Capture status Release of an authorized Transaction Capitalization of an authorized transaction Cancel is only available on an authorized transaction. It takes up to one day (weekday) from the time cancel is performed until the reservation on the customer bank account is released. The capture can be made manually from Merchant Admin or automatic (server to server), depending on your implementation with PayEx. When a transaction is captured the amount is charged the customers bank- or PayEx account. It is possible to capture hole or less of the authorized amount. Complete status Completes an Transaction Final transaction status is shown when completing an transaction. Complete is required for CPA Transactions. CPA Credit Credit account Purchase with mobile phone. A PayEx payment method. Credit a sale or captured Transaction A CPA transaction can not be credited. Instead we recommend that you use the money transfer option when handling support. Here you can send money to any PayEx account. It is possible to credit hole or less than the charged amount. There is no time limit for credit a transaction. Credit card Credit card payment method PayEx supports different credit cards such as VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners. Direct debit EVC Purchase directly from bank account. A PayEx payment method Electronic value code. A PayEx payment method Temporarily only in use in Sweden. Value codes can be purchased in stores or online. They can be used to deposit a PayEx account or purchase directly. Failed status Failed Transactions Failed transactions are shown with error codes. Invoice INIT status IVR Loan Invoice. A PayEx payment method Purchase with fixed-phone. A PayEx payment method. Loan. A PayEx payment method Temporarily only in use in Sweden. 4 (24)

Merchant Admin Money Transfer PayEx Merchant Administrator System Transfer money from your merchant account to any PayEx Account Available from the url: https://secure.payex.com/admin Username and password for Merchant Admin is distributed when the acceptance test is performed and ok. This is not a credit function. Use for example when compensating customers that purchased with CPA. Multi Currency Several available currencies It is possible to use different currencies for the account which is specified in the contract. PayEx PCSMS PayEx Account. A PayEx payment method PayEx Account is an electronic wallet for all online and mobile commerce. Sale status Single sale Purchase where the customer is charged directly. No capture is necessary. A temporary password will be sent to you. Then click return to logon page, and type in your username and the temporary password and click logon. 6 (24)

3 Merchant Functions 3.1 Merchant Profile In Merchant profile you will find a summary of your settings. Merchant profile information is generated from contract front page and information from merchant detail form. 3.1.1 IP Filter IP filter lists IP-addresses that will be accepted to send webservice calls to PayEx. This must be the public IP-address that your server uses. To add multiple IP-addresses, use comma as shown in the screenshot. Figure 5 - IP Filter 3.1.2 Update Your Logo Upload your merchant logo, it will be visible on the PayEx Payment page redirect model. Remember to click update logo after adding the picture with browse Figure 6 - Update Your Logo 3.1.3 Change Encryption Key To create a new encryption key, it s done here, and it s important that this key is not lost or other people get access to it. 3.1.4 CPA Messages To create a message that is sent to the user after a successful CPA transaction. Figure 8 - CPA Messages 10 (24)

3.2 Payment Methods This picture shows the minimum amount and the maximum amount values for different payment methods. The values are defined in the contract, but can be changed. 3.4 Merchant Access List This is a list of all PayEx interfaces. Lists all methods that s included in an interface. Last access is the last time a successful call has been done. Last request is the last time the interface has called. Figure 11 - Merchant Access List 12 (24)

4 Transactions The transactions menu enables you to manage your transactions in PayEx Admin. 4.1 Transaction Search Transaction search allows you to perform the following actions: Search for transaction details Cancel, capture, complete or credit transactions Manage subscriptions Figure 12 - Transaction Search Page 4.1.1 How to search for a transaction One of the most frequently used functions in Merchant Admin is search for transaction details. For example when your customers contact your support asking for status on a transaction or you want to credit a purchase. When searching for transaction you can either search on information related directly to the purchase (transaction number, order id) or search on user information (client account number, e-mail address, mobile number ). To search for a transaction: 1. From the Transactions menu click Transaction list 2. Choose filter in the Filter drop down menu 3. Enter filter value 4. Click Search 5. In the transaction list click transaction number to view details Menu name Transaction number Order id Description A unique number consisting seven (7) digits. Transaction number is generated automatically from the PayEx system. Search on transaction number only returns one row. Order id is set by merchant system. Order id can be used to match your statements or/and be used as a support reference number. Order id can consist of one (1) to fifty (50) signs (letters or digits). Search on Order id can return one or more rows, depending on your implementation. 13 (24)

PayEx account number, eight (8) digits. If a purchase has been completed on your merchant from a known PayEx account number, use this filter to search for the transaction. User name on a PayEx account. Use this filter if you want to find all transactions made on your merchant connected to a specific PayEx account (email address). Requires From date and Date included. Use this filter if you want to find all transactions made on your merchant connected to a specific GSM number. Note that you must enter area code (i.e. 479801900 for Norway or 46739123456 for Sweden) Requires From date and Date included Product number/reference for a specific product. A reference to the transaction. Puchase links to a PayEx client account. WTC orderid is generated automatically from the PayEx system. Search on wtc orderid only returns one row. WTC reference is generated automatically from the PayEx system. Search on wtc reference only returns one row. The code the client gets from phone call The clients phone nr Agreement ref is the reference for recurring transactions. Table 2 - Transaction List Filters Search may return one or more row. To view information on each transaction, click the number in the Transaction number column: Figure 13 - Transaction List When you click transaction number details are displayed for the transaction. Any additional transactions are listed at the bottom of the page. In the example under the transaction 21551995 has two additional transactions 21551997 (Credit) and 21551996 (Captured). To view more details for additional transaction, click on the transaction number. Functionality for Credit and Capture will be displayed when those options is available for the transaction (see next section). 14 (24)

Follow instructions from section 4.1.1. When viewing details for the transaction, choice for credit is displayed if available. 15 (24)

Figure 16 - Credit a transaction Figure 17 - Credited Transaction The amount can be less or equal the amount captured in the original transaction. Transaction number and Order id are details for the transaction you are crediting. In the example above the transaction was originally 15 NOK. The amount was changed to 1,50 and OK button clicked. Figure 14 shows confirmation that the credit went ok. Viewing details once more on the original transaction shows the additional credit transaction (Figure to the right). 4.1.3 Autopay Administration If your service is set up as a subscription service, each transaction will contain subscription information. The subscription information is attached to each transaction and can be accessed by viewing details. By viewing one transaction you have access to autopay history for the whole subscription period from start to end. You can stop a subscription from any transaction, not only the last and active transaction. 17 (24)

4.3 Capture Of Transactions Capture of transactions enables you to search for reserved transactions that are not captured. Transactions must be captured within 5 days else the authorized amount will be released. Figure 21 - Capture Transactions 19 (24)

4.4 Missing Complete Missing Complete enables you to search for and do a Complete on transactions that are missing the Complete tag. This is for visual purposes only and has no technical purpose. Figure 22 - Missing Complete 20 (24)

5 Statistics Reports The statistics reports menu enables you to generate reports of your sales and you settlements. All reports are available in HTML or Excel format. 5.1 Sales Matrixes Sales matrixes displays reports for total sales per product, payment method or price group for a specified period Figure 23 - Sales Matrixes 5.2 Transaction Extract Transaction extract displays detailed information about each transaction processed for a specified period. 7 Callback 7.1 Callback List In the callback list you can search for callback transactions in PayEx. Figure 26 - Callback List 23 (24)

8 PayEx SMS The Sms menu enables you to search for PayEx sms transactions. 8.1 SMS Search Sms search allows you to search for sms messages. Figure 27 - SMS Search 24 (24)
