My work was funded through a National Science Foundation grant that involved a joint research team from Kansas State University and the University of Kansas. The purpose of this research was to explore farmer s land-use decision making in Kansas, especially in relationship to biofuel crop production and perceptions of climate change. I was in charge of helping create, distribute, and analyze two major surveys of land-use practices and perceptions that were sent to over 15,000 Kansas farmers between 2010 and 2013.
