The College of Nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) has partnered with The Global Campus to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree Completion Program for Registered Nurses online. Upon successful completion of all coursework, students will earn a fully accredited BSN degree from UIC. TRANSFER FACTS Students will be prepared to enter the program if the following requirements are met: o Complete successfully the Associate in Applied Science Degree in Nursing from Truman College o Hold a current license to practice as a registered nurse o Have a cumulative non-nursing GPA of 2.75 (4.0 grading scale) and no less than a C in all required coursework. o Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 (4.0 grading scale) in all natural science courses. o Complete required Liberal Arts and Sciences coursework Students who have graduated from a State Approved ADN program and hold a current license as a Registered Nurse will receive 33 semester hours of proficiency credit. The credit will be awarded upon successful completion of NUSC 210 and 242, with a grade of C or better, in the BSN Completion Program. The University of Campus admits students to the BSN Completion Program in January, May, and August. The preferred admission deadline is two weeks prior to the start of class. The non-refundable application fee is $40 (Illinois residents), $50 (Nonresidents), and $75 (International). Tuition must be paid in full by the first day of class. Students should send transcripts to the UIC Online office at the address listed above. Transcripts will be evaluated by a Student Services Advisor. Students can contact an Advisor via the phone or email address listed above. 1
