Background: California Career Pathways Trust (CCPT) 2014 AB86 establishes regional collaborative partnerships connects districts, county offices of education& community colleges with industry develops & integrates standards based academics with career relevant skills convenes, connects, & measures locally defined career pathways integrated academic and CTE curriculum aligning sequence of courses to postsecondary education high need, high growth, or emerging regional economic sectors $250 million in competitive grants 2014 2019

NVC members in two awarded CP Proposals Northern California Career Pathway Alliance NCCCPA $15 million for 5 years NVC fiscal impact, $200,910, $180,385,$79,875 $461,170 total sub grant funds Funding for curriculum development, professional development, outreach, summer programs, grant management, equipment & supplies Vallejo City Unified School District $6 million for 5 years NVC fiscal impact, $113,000, $86,000, $82,000 $281,000 total sub grant funds Funding for curriculum development, professional development, outreach, summer programs, grant management, equipment & supplies

Northern California Career Pathway Alliance NCCPA The California Career Pathway Trust will invest $15 million over the next five years NCCPA partnership includes: SIX County Offices of Education FIVE Community Colleges SIX Workforce Investment Boards: Lake/Napa, Marin, Mendocino, Solano, Sonoma NCCPA provides services and support to 22 districts throughout the region NCCPA career pathways represent EIGHT Industry Sectors with SIXTEEN pathways 4
