Our terms and conditions document is available on client request, which includes information regarding our guarantee offered. METHODOLOGY Interview with the client Upon receiving a job specification we meet with the client personally. It is preferable to meet with HR, as well as the line manager, to ensure an accurate understanding of the role, the environment and leadership. It is at this phase that we not only gain knowledge of the role and individual required, but we also assess the client and the fit for the professionals we represent. Database Search Our first port of call is to conduct a defined database search. In addition, please note that we do have external databases available to us. Should we not be able to find the perfect match on our database we will move to Phase two. Attraction Strategies Although we do utilise recruitment advertising, we have found through past experience that networking results in often more reliable results. Through a networking approach we avoid the employer having to compete with a host of other employers for the same job seeker. Instead we focus on presenting a candidate that has considered his/her options and wants to move for the right reasons and the right opportunity. We do also utilise targeted online and print media if required. Screening and Shortlisting We conduct a one hour interview as a minimum with all professionals. In the interview we assess what percentage of information within the CV the candidate is actually doing. We get to know their technical skills, their personality, their vision and what stresses them. Through the interview we will assess how committed they are and whether their vision is clear. We will discuss why this respective position will get them to where they want to be. What it is about their current position that is creating the push to move forward? By asking the right questions we can ascertain whether the candidate may accept a counteroffer, whether they may carry their dissatisfaction forward to the new employer or if they are truly serious about their career move. We focus on placing professionals who are decidedly focused. We will also closely monitor cultural fit, thereby ensuring that shortlisted candidates presented match our promise of sending ONLY relevant candidates. Verification Checks and References Reference checks are completed on all professionals we present to clients. Within the reference check we probe technical strengths and weaknesses, as well areas of development. We conduct all the necessary verification checks accordingly. Interview with client We arrange interviews between the client and the candidate. In instances where challenges have been experienced in the past by the client we are able to sit in on an interview to establish reasons for these challenges and what is important to the client. Feedback is provided to the client and the candidate accordingly after any interview. Negotiations We are able to facilitate negotiations if required by the client, alternatively the client may handle this part of the process should they prefer. Resignation process of the candidate We assist the candidate through their resignation process, talking them through how to resign professionally and discussing the implications of receiving a counter offer and how this may impact on their overall vision for their career. We ensure that the candidate is walked through this difficult period to guarantee a successful outcome. I believe strongly in making it happen! Leonie Ellis 5
Following up We start off by wishing the candidate well and informing them of what will be happening on their first day. On their commencement date we follow-up with both the client and the candidate. In addition, we make contact one week thereafter and again one month later to ensure that both parties are content and that any concerns are communicated and resolved.
