Pini Mahuida La Invernada Huitrín Cerro Rayoso Emhidro SEP, through an agreement entered into with Neuquén Mining Department, has carried out geological surveys of Pini Mahuida, La Invernada and Cerro Rayoso areas, to establish their regional geological and structural features. As part of the Studies Program of the Energy Sector (PESE, in Spanish) of the Department of Energy's Office, which is funded by the Andean Development Corporation (CAF, in Spanish) the development of the bidding construction projects has been tendered and awarded. The estimated date for the start of works is October 2015 and will be conducted by the consulting firms INTERTECHNE - HISSA - HCA and GRIMAUX. Pini Mahuida, La Invernada and Cerro Rayoso projects have been included in the Power Works for the National Development and Integration Plan prepared by the National Government in 2014 year.
