BOSCH TMC and TMS Introduction TMC = Transport Management Center The TMC is a cross-divisional unit that is preplanning, optimizing and coordinating transports as well as handling transport exceptions. BOSCH Plants TMS = Transport Management System The TMS is an IT system with a web-based user interface. The TMS consists of a transport management module (TM) and a freight cost management module (FM). BOSCH plants, suppliers, carriers work with the TMS. Carriers TMC Suppliers Customers Carriers will work with the new TMS. 4

Introduction Routes For each transport relation to / from a BOSCH plant there is at least one route implemented. For each route the following set of parameters is defined: Delivery frequency Pick-up and delivery days Standard loading and unloading time windows Transportation mode Example for an implemented route Once a week FTL Carrier A Mega truck Carrier Equipment Effective date Pick-up Tuesday 06:00 07:00 Delivery Wednesday :00 3:00 Effective from: August 04 All transports have to be conducted according to the implemented route. 6

Routing instruction sheet Introduction The routing instruction (also sign-off sheet) contains all route parameters in written form: The routing instruction sheet is sent to all parties involved (Plant, Supplier/Customer, Carrier). It is accepted by default unless actively rejected. All relevant route information is provided in the routing instruction sheet. 7

Loads can only be rejected by contacting the TMC via phone or e-mail. All loads for the following day will be assigned to you by 4 pm.

Log into the TMS TMS masks 3. Open your internet browser and go to: http://solutions.inetlogistics.com/ls/login?lang=en&brandi ng=bosch 3. Type in your username and password 3. Press Start to log into the TMS. You have to change your password the first time you log in The password has to contain characters, digits and at least one special character (e.g.!@#$%^&*()_+ ~-=\'{}[]:";<>?,./). The minimum password length is 8 characters. In order to carry out any task in the TMS you first have to log into the system. 5

TMS masks Main menu 3 4 5 In the TMS the following masks are available: 3 4 5 Freight costs Freight cost claims can be placed here. Quote request Shows overview of all quote requests for additional transports. Loading List Shows overview of all loads. The Goods collected/delivered status is set here. Extras Configuration of default values Logout The main menu is used to access the different masks in the TMS. 6

TMS masks Load details (/) Load header with the details of the transport: Assigned carrier Load status Transport start date and time Transport end date and time Roundtrip flag for FTL roundtrip transports Transport mode Equipment Route description Carriers can look up the details of all assigned loads in the TMS. 7

TMS masks Load details (/) In the section Transport list you see an overview of all transport orders that are part of this load. A load can contain one or more transport orders. Pick-up and delivery sequence Transport order status Pick-up and delivery address Pick-up and delivery date time Volume/ weight For more transport details click on transport order number. Carriers can look up the details of all assigned loads in the TMS. 8

Transport order details TMS masks By clicking on the transport order number the transport order details will be shown. The mask for transport order details is divided into four main parts: Order header with main transport order details Address information of consignor and recipient Transport details and times Package information and quantity and article information and quantity One load can consist of more than one transport order. 9

How to enter load details? How to enter load details? The carrier is responsible for entering load details, e.g. number plate, in the TMS. For entering load details you have to follow these steps: Step : Select the relevant load Step : Enter load details Carriers are responsible for adding relevant load details.

How to print the assignment list? How to print the assignment list? The carrier is responsible for handing over the assignment list to BOSCH goods receiving. For printing the assignment list you have to follow these steps: Step : Open assignment e-mail or select load in TMS Step : Print assignment list It is essential to hand over the assignment list to BOSCH goods receiving as it is required for confirming the goods receipt! In reasonable cases (TMC agreement during implementation necessary) the driver has to note the load no. on the CMR / shipping documents as a temporary backup solution to ensure clear identification of transport details within the network and for the goods receiving department at BOSCH. Carriers are responsible for ensuring the link between the load in TMS and the physical transports to BOSCH goods receiving or hubs. 6

Step : Print assignment list How to print the assignment list? In the load details you will find a field called Documents. Select Assignment list from the dropdown menu. Click on Print documents. 3 3 The assignment list shows an overview of the assigned load including transport order details. The assignment list needs to be printed and handed over to BOSCH goods receiving. The carrier is responsible for printing the assignment list and handing it over to BOSCH goods receiving. 8

Carriers are responsible for uploading the POD in case of outbound transports. 40

Step : Select transport order on the load How to upload documents? Select transport order (in transport list) The transport order mask will open. Click on button Documents Select the transport order you want to upload a document for. 4

Step 3: Upload documents 3 3 Select Proof of delivery from the dropdown menu if you want to upload a POD Click on Browse button to search for the POD file Click on Add to upload the document. Freight costs for outbound transports will only be cleared if POD is uploaded. Carriers are responsible for uploading the POD in case of BOSCH outbound transports. 43

Carriers have the possibility to place freight cost claims for additional costs that have not been considered in the billing value calculation by the TMS. Please follow these steps to place a freight cost claim: Step : Search for load/to Step : Select load/to for claim Step 3: Enter claim for load/to Additional freight costs may be claimed in the TMS. 45

Select claiming reason from the dropdown menu. 3 Enter claiming amount (costs) in defined currency Enter a rate and a text that explains your claim Click on Save button to process the entered claim. The load will then be flagged with a yellow sign. Each claim needs to contain the costs, the cost type and an explanation of the reason behind your claim. 4 3 4 48
