EXPLORE 4-Leg Teaming Table with Screen Share Monitor Display Requirements: your flat panel display must confirm to the following requirements. y With the stand removed, the monitor must not exceed 40 lbs. y Feature a mounting hole pattern 200mm x 200mm or smaller. y HDMI input with native resolution of 1080p. y Return to the last HDMI input programmed when powered on. y Sleep mode must be disabled to use the Power Controller. y Teaming Table with Screen Share is optimized to mount monitors up to 40 but can accommodate a larger display as long as it meets the above specifications. Always check monitor specifications before purchasing your display. FPP1M0 (1)X 030-1234 (4)x 030-1267 (4)x To secure the mounting plate to the back of your monitor, a courtesy hardware pack (#044-2124) has been provided with several metric screw sizes. You may need to purchase additional metric screws from your local hardware store for a monitor with different mounting screw size. Optimized for flat panels up to 40 with no larger than a 200mm X 200mm mounting hole pattern. The mount can accommodate a larger monitor as long as it meets the specifications on the first page. Monitor weight may not exceed 40 lbs. 10

8 With someone s help, slide the monitor mount assembly into the pole. NOTE: Make sure the screws in the spike are loosened and the release lever is pulled out while sliding in the spike. Once desired location is determined, tighten spike screws. Loosen screws prior to entry. Tighten to secure in place. Quick release lever Pull out to insert into tube and adjust monitor mount height. Monitor not shown for clarity For stability, Monitor mount must install facing the work surface. 12
9 012-0753 (1)X Position your monitor at the desired angle. Using a 3/16 Allen wrench provided, tighten the large bolt to maintain the monitor tilt position. Position your monitor to be horizontal with the table top. Using a 1/8 Allen wrench provided, tighten the set screw to prevent rotational swivel. Two people are suggested when setting the angle and position of your monitor. 13
10 Install the two 2-outlet power modules into the Cable Cubby using the lock washers, black screws, and small screw driver provided by Extron. Bretford recommends you install them to the middle height setting. Install one power unit for each Cable Cubby door and install both so they are closest to the monitor. TIP: Keep power cords secured with the twist ties until the cord bin is lifted into place. ISOMETRIC VIEW Both power modules mount close to the monitor. 14
Insert the Show Me cables into the plastic plates, half in the 1st plate and half in the 2nd plate. Show Me cable buttons need to be above the plastic plate. Keep the twist tie on the lower portion of Show Me cable in place at this time. Using the black screws provided by Extron, secure the plate to the top of the small aluminum sleeves. There are four aluminum sleeves, use the shorter aluminum sleeves and discard the longer pair. 11 12 Fill unused holes in the plastic cable plate with the plastic buttons provided. 15

14 Move the latch brackets on the sides of the Cable Cubby down to the lowest position with the levers pointing down. Rotate them flat against the cubby wall. Keeping the power outlets closest to the monitor mount, feed the cables through the table opening and place the Cable Cubby into the table. 018-0688 (1)X Slide the latch brackets up until they are snug to the underside of the work surface and lift the lever upward to lock into place. 17
15 Attach the mounting brackets to your TeamWork Switch. The X40 (TeamWork 400) 4 user HDMI switch utilizes Extron mounting brackets MBU123; The X60 (TeamWork 600) 6-user HDMI switch utilizes Extron mounting brackets MBU149; The X42 (TeamWork 601) 6-user (4)HDMI/(2)VGA switch utilizes Extron mounting brackets MBU123. 16 Install the rubber bumpers provided by Extron to the top of the TeamWork Switch. 18
17 Strip approximately 1 of the black cover off of the short extension from each of the Show Me cables. Expose and separate the Red, Black and bare wires as shown. 19
18 Connect each wire to the blue tally ports attached to the back of the TeamWork switch. For switches using only HDMI connections, (versions X40 and X60) the Red hot wire attaches to the port marked Contact on the back of the switch and the Black ground wire attaches to the port marked Tally Out. Bare wire is not used. Attach the ECF6 6-outlet power strip to the mounting holes in the cord bin. Mount the power strip so it is at the rear of the table. 19 ECF6 (1)X 20 Install the two hooks to the inserts under the table first then hang the bin on the hook loops. Use the hooks to initially hang the bin while installing the electronics. Swing and open wide enough to organize the power and data cables inside the cord bin. 21 Plug each HDMI/VGA Show Me cable and tally port into the back of the TeamWork Switch making sure to connect the HDMI/VGA and corresponding tally port into the same numbered position. Positions are numbered next to each port on the back of the TeamWork Switch. 23 Connect the HDMI video output cable (12 feet) to the HDMI output port on the back of the TeamWork Switch. The other end will run under the table, through the small grommet hole, up the monitor pole and to your display monitor input HDMI port. Use the pole cable clips to secure the wire into place. Store extra cable in the cord management bin once installed. 23
24 Connect the TeamWork Switcher Control Cable with blue 3-port (X42) or 5-port (X40 & X60) tally on one end and blue 4-port tally on the opposite end to the TeamWork Switch. Attach the tally port to the Remote RS-232 plug on the back side of your TeamWork Switch. 25 Connect the TeamWork Switcher power supply with red tally port to the backside of the switch. Plug the power supply into the 6-outlet power strip mounted inside the cord bin. Fit the bracket over the screws and slide away from you (towards the center of the table). Once in place tighten the screws. LED lights and buttons face out from the table. 25
27 Attach the mounting brackets MBU125 to the Power Controller and install the rubber bumpers to the top of the unit. 28 Mount the Power Controller using the 3mm pilot holes located approximately 2 off the right rear or left rear edge of the table. Choose the side that provides you easiest access. Insert the wood screws loosely, fit the bracket over the screws and slide away from you (towards the center of the table). Once in place tighten the screws. LED lights and buttons face out from the table. 26

Only loosen enough cable to reach the plug, leave the remainder of your power cable tied. Using the Velcro straps provided, clean up any loose cables and neatly secure them inside the cord management bin. Power cables should be secured to the rear of the bin while excess Show Me data cables should be housed in the front of the bin. Show Me cables should be left loose to enable them to be pulled out of the Cable Cubby for use. 27
31 Once all your cables are laid inside the bin and connected, swing the bin into position and attach with 030-0402 screws. 33 Plug the ECF6 power strip into your power source. You may use the leg Cord Minder Clip provided to secure the power cable to one of the rear upper leg assemblies. Once plugged in ensure the ECF6 power strip on/off switch is in the on position, the switch will illuminate when turned on. 29
TESTING THE SYSTEM 34 The Extron TeamWork system has been pre-configured, once installed there should be no need for further configuration to the system. To test the system; IPL T PC1 POWER 100 R TX INPUT LINK RX IR ACT 100-120V 50/60Hz 1. Power your personal device, Extron switch, and Power Controller to ON. 2. If the display monitor does not power to ON, confirm it Txis Rx properly +5V connected to the Power LAN Controller and/or the monitor s sleep mode or power saver has been disabled. For instructions, refer to your monitor s owner manual. 3. With your personal device powered ON and an image displayed on its screen, connect a Share Cable to your personal device. 12A MAX POWER OUTPUT 12A MAX 4. On the connected Share Cable, press the Share Button. The Share Button will illuminate blue, indicating control of the monitor and that a signal is present. Content will now be displayed from your personal device to the monitor. 5. To connect additional personal devices, repeat steps 3 and 4. 6. When all devices are disconnected, the display monitor will power OFF within 30 seconds. INPUT 7. Press the power button on the front of the Power Controller; the green light and display monitor should turn off. Note: Some indicator lights on the Extron Switch. 35 Re-insert the Show Me cables on the table top into the Cable Cubby by manually feeding them down into the cord bin.
