1. Key Features & Functionality The PrinterOn Mobile Apps introduce key features and functionality that are intended to provide a significant improvement in the overall print workflow and user experience compared to other solutions. PrinterOn Mobile for ios supports ios 7+. PrinterOn Mobile for Android supports Android 4+. 1.1. Printer Discovery A new Printer Discovery Panel combines the wide range of discovery options into a single easy to access Discovery dashboard. Users can select from one of a number of methods to discover a printer including: 1.1.1. Location-Based Search GPS based discovery offers a wide range of tools and options efficiently presented to both visualize and locate printers. Explore a location by dragging the map and use the Search This Location option to find printers in the vicinity. A Summary Printer List may be overlaid on the map to view additional printer information while exploring the map for more printers Paged results allow users to view and expand the field of view on the map and explore a broader radius of printers A location-based search bar allows the user to enter locations, city names and points of interest to navigate to the location and search for printers. PrinterOn Server Install and Configuration Guide 4

1.1.2. Keyword Search Leverage PrinterOn s keyword based search by entering a word or phrase available in a printer s details. Simply enter a keyword for a known printer and receive a list of matching printers based on criteria including: Descriptive Printer Label Printer name Street address City State Zip/postal code (space is required in postal code searches) Paged Results allow users to view the best matches with fast response times and minimized network overhead while continuing to allow users to view additional printers with a single tap for more printers. 1.1.3. Authorized Enterprise Discovery Selecting this option will return all printers enabled for the user through the PrinterOn server. Discover and access PrinterOn Servers and printers regardless of network access. Supports both local network and Internet-based communication. Leverage PrinterOn s role based access control to retrieve only authorized printers from configured PrinterOn servers. 1.1.4. Network Printers Automatically discover network printers, combine PrinterOn Discovery and other network services such as Bonjour to locate printers and PrinterOn Servers on the network. PrinterOn Discovery can use Bonjour for local network discovery of PrinterOn Servers and is highly optimized for large networks with many services. PrinterOn Server Install and Configuration Guide 5

1.1.5. One-Step QR Code Discovery By using a combination of the information included on a QR code, the mobile application, and a supported Cloud Server, either Public or Private, the PrinterOn Mobile Application can locate and configure access to a printer in a single step. This unique approach allows the PrinterOn Mobile App to determine not only the printer but also the Cloud Print Service with which the printer is associated. This eliminates the need for users to pre-configure their print service and provides more mobility to users, regardless of network. If authentication is required for the printer you scan and matching details are not already stored in the app, users will be prompted to select from the credentials stored. Users will also be able to create a new Account to use with this printer at this time if necessary. The Services area will also be updated with the Service URL used and stored for future submissions. 1.2. Print History and Background Print The PrinterOn Mobile App s rich Print History and Background Print functionality provide an intuitive user interface to manage active and past print jobs. The Background Print functionality allows the user to submit multiple print jobs and receive notifications about the progress of each print job individually. The Print History catalog provides detailed information about print jobs including: Job Summary Information Secure Release Code Information Review image of your job, (if available) to provide a visual reminder of the request Printer Details are easily accessible by tapping the printer icon Print Release Interface Access Release your print job directly from your mobile device PrinterOn Server Install and Configuration Guide 7

1.3. Integrated Remote Job Release When enabled by the service owner, users can release print jobs directly from the PrinterOn Mobile App regardless of network or location using PrinterOn s patented network-bridging technology. When reviewing a printed job, the user will be presented with a Release option to choose to release their job on the selected printer. 1.4. Touch ID Support (ios 8 only) Devices using ios 8 or later can leverage the additional security of protecting their Release Codes, and Remote Release with the help of Apple s Touch ID. After tapping the Unlock Release button, users will be prompted to provide their Touch ID. As with all Touch ID interfaces, users may also provide their ios access code. NOTE: The Touch ID functionality is provided by Apple and only activated by the PrinterOn App. PrinterOn cannot access any personal information with this functionality. This includes a combination of both OS-specific security capabilities as well as PrinterOn specific enhancements. In addition to the OS specific tools, PrinterOn additionally encrypts information prior to saving within the OS secure encrypted services, providing 2 levels of encryption. 1.1.10. Network Security The PrinterOn Mobile application ensures that all communication is done securely and works with the user to ensure they are informed of their network activity. Good Share Select Print Job Sent to PrinterOn Print! PrinterOn Server Install and Configuration Guide 25

9.2. App Enablement Overview Please note, the section below describes how to deploy the Good Dynamics Partner application. Publishing the standard PrinterOn app is similar to publishing any other public application This short guide explains how to make a partner application available to your end users. In summary, these are the required steps: Good Dynamics Partner Applications such as PrinterOn s cannot be registered in your Good Control Console (GC), without requesting PrinterOn to publish their applications to you. This step of publishing makes the application visible in your GC. Before PrinterOn may publish any applications to your GD organization, you must first request the application from within the Good Dynamics Marketplace. Important: the PrinterOn application will be published on GC's registered to your GD organization. Select 'Manage License' from the Cockpit page to confirm you own the GC servers. If you are a member of your company's GDN Enterprise group, your request will be on behalf of your company rather than you as an individual. PrinterOn Server Install and Configuration Guide 26

9.3. Requesting the PrinterOn App Browse to the Good Dynamics Marketplace. Locate the PrinterOn application Select the 'Get Application' button. Review the form and indicate if you would like the publisher to arrange a trial or production license. Click 'Submit'. PrinterOn Server Install and Configuration Guide 27

9.4. PrinterOn Provided Application PrinterOn handles all aspects of the application licensing, so any change from trial to production can be managed without making a further request from the catalog. PrinterOn will be notified of your request. You will also receive email confirmation that the request has been sent and be provided the contact details for the publisher. You will be informed by email once the partner publishes the application to you. The application will immediately appear in all GC consoles within your organization. You may select 'Manage Application' from within your GC to confirm the partner application is listed. If the application doesn't appear under 'Manage Applications' in your GC, it is likely that the GC server you are using is not assigned to your GDN account. Please check your Server & Licenses within the Good Dynamics Network and contact support if you need assistance. Once the PrinterOn application is visible in your GC console you may deploy it to your end users in the same way as any other Good Dynamics application. Select the User or Group you wish to entitle to use the Partner Application. Select against 'Allowed Applications'. Filter the view by 'Partner Apps' and select the required application. You should entitle ALL application versions so when an ISV upgrades their application on an external app store your users have permission to run the latest application. Provision an 'Access Key' for each user who requires the application. Please see the help documentation in your GC Console for further instructions on entitling an application and provisioning an Access Key. PrinterOn Server Install and Configuration Guide 28
