Hi, I m Dan Thies here again with the second part of Module 1: The Plan. In this part of the training, we re going to talk about how the Link LiberaBon system works, and how the pieces and parts fit together. 1
We re going to do that, in six short videos. This video will give you a quick overview of the system, and the training. Then we ll cover Keyword Strategy, Leverage, What we call Level 2 markebng, talk about the idea of adding value to the web, and explain how the building blocks of the system fit together. 2
So here in the first video we have a limle housekeeping to take care of, to make sure you understand the course schedule. I ll talk about the plan to ramp up the pace of the course as we get farther into it, and our commitment to covering all the bases in your training. Finally, we ll take a look at the whole system and the plan for the full 12 weeks. 3
So first things first the schedule. Each module of the Link LiberaBon core training comes in two parts. We ll release the first part of each module on Tuesdays, and the second on Thursdays. Our weekly Q&A calls will take place on Wednesdays, and all of these events happen at 2pm US Eastern Bme. The Q&A calls for each week will primarily focus on the prior week s training, and as we begin case studies during the third week, we ll spend the first 15-20 minutes of each call going over someone s site, and talking about how to apply what we ve just learned to that site. 4
Now, it takes some Bme to get your brain in gear, and in mobon that s true of all of us. It s easy to get overloaded and overwhelmed, and as tempbng as it is to bombard you with bonuses and added value during the first couple weeks, we re going to do this the right way because we know how to teach this stuff, we ve been doing it for years, and the most important thing this week is to let these concepts si_ into your brain. Next week, in Module 2, we re going to use longer videos, and spend more Bme working not just your brain, but your hands too, because there will be some stuff you need to start doing. For one thing you need to learn how to use the Link LiberaBon so_ware, so we ll take some Bme in Module 2 applying the concepts we re teaching to doing real stuff in the so_ware. Our goal for each week, is to deliver no more than 75-90 minutes of content that you need to consume. I am a bit of a perfecbonist somebmes, but I ll try not to let that get in our way. I do reserve the right to bring in more stuff somebmes it s worth it, but I will do my best to strike a balance, between giving you more, and taking too much of your Bme. 5
So this is, a very rough, top- level picture, of what makes Link LiberaBon different. Since we talked about the Ranking Triangle enough for now, we ll cover the rest keyword strategy, leverage, level 2 markebng, adding value, and the building blocks, in today s videos. Before we move on to that let s go over the schedule for the 12 weeks one more Bme. 6
I like to think of Link LiberaBon as being divided into two halves. In the first half, we start off with this module the Plan, In the second week we move into Content Pumps doing market research, topic bridging, and sefng up your first persona in the Link LiberaBon so_ware. The we start to apply our market research, topics and personas to market mulbpliers venues like social media sites, forums, and blogs, where the people we want to Engage in conversabon are hanging out. So, in the first quarter, we re gefng the lay of the land, sefng up a base camp, and starbng to make our presence felt. Because almost everyone taking this course will already have a website that s gefng some search engine traffic, and therefore has at least some kind of search engine rankings, even if they re nothing to write home about just yet, we re going to spend week 4 giving you the tools to control the Anchor Text side of the ranking triangle, to help you move some of those rankings up. Because it s important to target the Right keywords when you do this, we ll be offering a limle extra training during this week, on our Zone- Based SEO and SerializaBon methods. Then we re going to come back to RelaBonship leverage and how to apply it, and finally, show you some more advanced and hard- hifng ways to build the Authority of your site, in the marketplace, and in the search engines. 7
So by hal_ime, you re already going to be doing the vast majority of what our most successful students were doing in Link LiberaBon 1.0 in the second half, we ll bring in the rest, and go even further. We ve got two Red- Label modules, which means they re a limle bit technical, on Internal linking, and other advanced seo topics. We ll talk about hiring, outsourcing, and managing link building teams, and how to leverage on- demand outsourcing services for those in the United States, this usually means Amazon s Mechanical Turk service. Then it s Bme for the final 3 weeks the Traffic LiberaBon series, with our guest experts Marty Rozmanith, Paul Colligan, Pete Williams, Marc Harty, Erica Douglass, and Garret French. 8
