Showing a ClickView video in the classroom There is a separate guide for students, available from Moodle at Student Resources > General Resources > Using Moodle for Students General Points to Note ClickView is an online resource, accessed via the Internet, and should work in virtually any browser. However on Focus computers and the Citrix system you are recommended to use Google Chrome, not Internet Explorer. Part A. Browsing the ClickView library at ClickView Online Access to ClickView Online is provided to enable staff to browse the Focus video libraries. When directing students to ClickView videos, you should always add the video to a Moodle course see Part B of this guide. 1. Load Google Chrome. In the address bar type: clickview.co.uk. Click Sign In. In the box labelled Single Sign On, enter your Focus email address. Click Continue 1
. In the first box, enter focus\ followed by your Focus username Make sure you use \ and not /. 7. In the second box, enter your Focus password 8. Click Sign In 7 8 You can now browse the library of Focus videos. 9. Click Focus Secondary Library 10. To preview a video simply click on the thumbnail image e.g. click on the folder Art & Design and then click on the video Great Artists The video player has the following controls: Chapters: to navigate through the video (some videos only) Resolution: to display in higher quality Sound: to adjust the volume When you have finished browsing videos, simply close the browser. Next time you use ClickView Online you should not need to enter your sign-on details as the browser should remember them. However when using Citrix you may need to login to ClickView Online on each occasion.
Part B. Adding a ClickView video to a Moodle Course 1. Log in to Moodle. Navigate to the course that you wish to add a video to.. Click Turn editing on. Click Add an activity or resource. Scroll down the list of activities and resources. Select ClickView Video 7. Click Add 7 8. Click Sign In with ClickView Online 8 9. In the box labelled Single Sign On, enter your Focus email address Do not enter a password at this stage 10. Click Sign In 9 10

You can now browse through the Focus video library e.g. click Focus Secondary Library 1 1. To select a video, simply click on its thumbnail image e.g. click on the folder Art & Design and then click on Great Artists When you have selected a suitable video: 1. Enter the Display Title 17. Click Save and return to course 17 The link to the video should be shown on the course page, together with the ClickView icon. 18. Part C: Showing a ClickView Video in the Classroom 1. Navigate to the course and course topic where the ClickView video has been placed.. To playback the video, click on the link.. It is possible you will be asked to sign in to ClickView Online. If so, follow the guidance in Part B steps 8-1 above.. Click on the arrow to playback the video.. The video player has the following controls: Chapters: to navigate through the video (some videos only) Resolution: to display in higher quality Sound: to adjust the volume Full Screen mode. If you use Full Screen Mode, you must click the Back button in the browser to return to the Moodle course page.
