Overview The XactView module provides an easy to use GUI for editing the XactView server settings on your PBX. In general, XactView is purchased with the PBX and you wont need to change these settings from default. However, this module provides some troubleshooting tools that, should you encounter issues, are handy. Logging In Log into the XactView module and you should see a screen like this. XactView Status: Version: Reload : Up XactView v2.6.2 rev 3752 Reload This section contains the following. Status- Displays if XactView is running. Version- Displays the XactView version. Reload- Reloads the XactView server. Note that on hosted systems, pressing this may reload XactView across several systems. It s advised that Schmooze Support be contacted when the System Status is down on a hosted system. Status: Version: Reload : Up XactView v2.6.2 rev 3752 Reload

License In License, you can define the following. Licensed To- If licensed, you would see the deployment number followed by the system name. The system name is set in the Schmooze Portal when you register the PBX and may not be related to the system FQDN. Trial Days- If in a trial period, the number of days left in the trial would be displayed. Clients- The number of licensed clients. This is the number of simultaneous users, so you could log out of XactView on your office PC and log into XactView on your home PC and still be using only one license. Queues- The number of licensed queues. Activate- If your system was originally set up without XactView, you would enter your license code here and press the Activate button. License Licensed To: Trial Days: Clients: Queues: 3641522972 NFR 2 2 Activate: Activate Settings This section defines server connectivity. Admin User Name- The admin name. Admin Password- The admin password. Originate Timeout- When a client originates a call via XactView, this sets the number of milliseconds the originating extension is rung before timing out. The default is 30000. Auto Reload- Tells the server to reload whenever a Dialplan change is applied. The default is Enabled. Enable Page Status- If checked, this allows you to see the paging status on extensions in XactView. XactView Host- The IP Address or FQDN of the XactView server. Location- The XactView location. The default is default. Tenant- The XactView tenant. The default is default. Client Port- Sets the port on the server for communication with the clients. The default is 50003. Asterisk Host- The IP Address or FQDN of your Asterisk server.

Host- Jabber Host to use unless overwritten by extension settings. Default is blank. Domain- Jabber Domain to use unless overwritten by extension settings. Default is blank. Resource- Jabber Resource to use unless overwritten by extension settings. Default is XactView. Port- Jabber Port to use unless overwritten by extension settings. Default is 5222. Log Messages- Tells the server to log all chat messages. Check the box to enable. Default is disabled. Global Jabber Settings Host: Domain: Resource: Port: Log Messages: XactView 5222 Submit Changes

Module Debug For use in troubleshooting, as information can be obtained by simply clicking on your choice and scrolling down on the page to view the output. Note that the effect is cumulative. If you press all three choices, they will all display until you reload the page. View Debug Log- Module debug information. View Error Log- Module error log. View Database- List of XactView usage and settings. Debug Recap View Error Log View Core Log View Communication Log View AMI External Log View AMI Internal Log The XactView module provides an easy to use GUI for setting up new instances of XactView, viewing licensing/operational status and provides some rudimentary troubleshooting tools.
