ATTN: SUBJECT: Shipping Manager Routing Instructions for all Gateway CDI Small Package Suppliers DATE: July 2010 In an effort to streamline shipping activity, Gateway CDI has chosen FedEx as our primary carrier for all small package shipments (including all drop shipments on our behalf). At this time, LTL shipping directives will remain the same. The new agreement with FedEx will help improve the logistical flow and save both time and money. These instructions supersede all previous instructions and must be followed as outlined. Shipping Requirements for Small Package Effective immediately all small package shipments for Gateway CDI should now be shipped via FedEx Ground, using the Bill Third party option, unless otherwise noted on the PO. Expedited shipments will require prior authorization from Gateway CDI. Under this arrangement, shipping charges will be invoiced directly to us, while additional fees associated with your FedEx packages, including weekly pickup fees if applicable, will be invoiced to you. Small packages include single packages and non-palletized freight up to 500 lbs. No single package may exceed 150 lbs. and 165 in length plus girth L + 2H +2W). If you have questions about packaging guidelines, FedEx packaging specialists are available to assist you at 1.800.633.7019.
