3 I n t r o d u c t i o n Capital Transportation Solutions has developed for rating, quoting, dispatching and managing motor freight movements throughout North America. This overview explains login information and addresses basic features of the system. Page 3

4 1. Please follow the instructions below when quoting and booking loads. General Instructions 2. The CTS Quoting and Dispatch Software contains the rates that truckers charge over each lane that they service, and provides a screen to create a bill of lading (BOL) for ordering pickups. Additionally the software provides notes for tracking shipments. For questions regarding a pickup or quote contact CTS Dispatch at or [email protected]. 3. When booking a load please make sure that CTS has the reference number/booking number in the proper Bill of Lading Field. It is needed to match for payment. 4. Use to obtain quotes for loads of more than six pounds per cubic foot. 5. Call CTS Special Services at for any quotes on loads less than six pounds per cubic foot and also for any loads requiring special services, loads over 20,000 lbs or that require more than one-half of a trailer. 7 Select ShipRite On Top Menu Option Getting Rate Quotes Company Logo 1. Enter Origin & Destination postal codes 2. Enter Shipment Date if different from today s date 3. FAK 70 for Classes Enter weight in LBS (required) & number of pallets (Optional) 5. Click applicable accessorials if they apply to your shipment 6. Click Rate It button 7. Results screen will appear within 3 seconds Page 7

9 Information Needed for Volume Rate Quotes Volume Rate Quotes Origin & Destination : Commodity : Packing : City, State, Zip Code, contact person, phone and fax Is the product hazardous? Is it machinery? If not then we would only need to have a description of what is being shipped Is the product boxed, crated and/or palletized? Space Requirements: Service Requirements: What are the dimensions (L x W x H) of shipping units Include total cubic volume and linear feet, if known What are pickup and delivery requirements regarding type of equipment Dry Van or Flat Bed and timing (dates) For shipments less than six pounds per cubic foot contact CTS Special Services at to quote and move loads Page 9

10 Dispatch a Pickup Request 1. Close ShipRite Rate Quote Screen 2. From Manage Shipments page, click Create Shipment (above page will appear) 3. Fill In Requested Fields 4. When completed Select Get ShipRite Carrier and Rates Button Then Double Click on the carrier you want to select 5. The click on Place Shipment button will transmit shipment information to be processed by CTS Dispatch Page 10
