Tylk Gustafson Reckers Wilson Andrews, LLC was formed in July 2000. TGRWA evolved from the firm of Tylk, Gustafson and Associates, Inc. whose roots date back to 1979. The TGRWA Principals are Mike Tylk, Roger Reckers, Kevin Wilson and Jon Andrews. TGRWA has a record of continuing growth, offering a broad spectrum of structural engineering services to its clients. TGRWA PSE&G Solar Panel Project TGRWA provided the structural design, working drawings, and construction phase services for three steel canopy structures containing solar panel modules to generate 145 kw of renewable energy electricity. The freestanding cantilevered steel truss and purlin canopies are located in the parking lot of PSE&G s Edison Training Facility in Edison, New Jersey. BTSA Solar Panel Project TGRWA provided the structural design, working drawings, and construction phase services for two steel canopy structures containing solar panel modules to generate 286 kw of renewable energy electricity. The freestanding cantilevered steel truss and purlin canopies are located above the stabilization lagoon at Bernards Township Sewerage Authority Facility in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Chicago State University Convocation Center TGRWA provided the structural design, working drawings and construction phase documents for the 5 Level, 172,000 square foot Convocation Center. The long-span roof framing system consists of 4 twoway trusses that span the 220 x 260 arena. The concourse areas are case-in-place concrete flat slabs. The seating treads and risers are precast concrete supported on cast-in-place concrete bents. The Convocation Center will be used for sporting, entertainment and graduation events. Amada Solution Center TGRWA provided the structural design, working drawings, and construction phase services for this new corporate facility in suburban Chicago. The 126,000 square foot building includes a single-story showroom that will be utilized to display equipment and a two-story office wing. 181 North Clark Parking and Commercial Structure TGRWA provided the structural design, working drawings and construction phase services for the deep foundations and two basement levels for this new mixed-use project. The constructed building includes retail stores at the street level and 10 floors of parking above. Existing caissons from both the 1959 Greyhound Bus Station and the 1991 Chicago Title and Trust Building were utilized to support the structure which was designed for an eight story addition at a future date. TGRWA also provided a preliminary structural design for a future office addition.
