1. Objective: The main objective behind the implementation of Digital Signature in the RIL B2B website is to avoid receipt of physical copy of Sales Order from Agents/Dealers. 2. Information about Digital Signature Certificate Applicability (n)code Solutions CA Certificates are intended to support the following core security needs Authentication - provides assurance of the identity of the Subscriber; Message integrity -- checks that the content of a message is intact, and has not been altered in any way between the time of sending and its receipt; and Digital Signature -facilitates non repudiation by providing assurance to the Relying Party against denial from a Subscriber that such Subscriber has authorized any particular transaction, if the transaction has been digitally signed by the Subscriber. Transactions using Digital Certificate provide legality under the IT Act 2000. The Digital Certificate issued to someone can be used for any number of times during validity period. It can be used for different online applications and confirms Privacy, Authentication, Integrity and Non- Repudiation. Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is an instrument for electronic transaction which proves vendor s identity in virtual world i.e. on internet, Local Area Network or Wide Area Network. DSC makes sure that all the transaction made through online system remains secure. It also maintains integrity of data submitted by Agents in online mechanism and it is legally supported by IT Act 2000 and is considered as good as physical signature by court of law. Agents who wish to participate in online RIL B2B will have to procure / should have legally valid Digital Certificate as per Information Technology Act-2000 using which they can sign their electronic bids. RIL Agents and Dealers can procure the same from (n) Code solutions- a division of GNFC Ltd, who are licensed Certifying Authority by Govt. of India. Page 3 of 14
Agents / Dealers can Purchase the Digital Certificate Class IIIB from ncode Solutions on the pre negotiated price by RIL for all the Reliance Customers. 3. Documents Required for procuring Class-IIIB Certificate Class IIIb [ Organizations ] Documents required with each Digital Certificate Application: (a)authorization Letter in favour of the certificate applicant from the applicant organization (as per the format attached with the application form) (b)latest photograph of the applicant. Documents required only once for an Organization / Enterprise: (c)certified true copy (from Company Secretary / a Director / Partner of the organization) of any one of the following: Certificate of Incorporation or Memorandum & Articles of Association or Registered Partnership Deed or Valid business license document (d)certified true copy of any one of the following: Annual Report or Income Tax Return or Statement of Income or Bank details of the organization Physical Presence : Yes 4. Process for purchase of valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) Class IIIB The Digital Certificate can be taken from (n)code Solutions, a Certifying Authority licensed by the CCA, Government of India. Steps:- 1. Download / obtain Application form for DSC from https://www.ncodesolutions.com/pdf/enterprise-iib-iiib-iiic.pdf and take a print of the form. Page 4 of 14
Submit required documents with duly filled form to the nearest Local Registration Authority of (n)code. 2. After successfully filling up of form, (n)code LRA shall enter the details in the Module and subscriber receives a mail as 1.(n)Code Email Confirmation Request wherein it contains a unique Customer ID mentioned in the same and a link for verifying email. 3. Subscriber Click s on Email Verify link given in the email and the email verification process is done. 4. After that RA sends the Reference Number & Authorization Code through email with the subject as 2.[CUST ID]-(n)Code Reference/Authorization Codes (DO NOT DELETE) to the user. Authorization Code is sent through post on the user address. 5. Using these codes you can download the Digital Certificate. 6. This Digital Certificate can be downloaded on your e-token. Certificate Download Steps 1. User receives Reference Number & Authorization Code through email with the subject as "2.[CUST ID]-(n)Code Reference/Authorization Codes (DO NOT DELETE) ".The link for downloading the certificate is mentioned in the above mail. 2. User clicks the link https://www.ncodesolutions.com/cda-cgi/clientcgi.exe?action=start 3. It asks for the Customer Id & Password, which is mentioned in the mail with the subject Email Confirmation Successfully Done. After giving both details subscriber needs to click on Login the same will ask for the pass phrase, which has been given in the same mail. 4. After clicking on submit button the user comes to Web Connector. User Clicks on the Web Browser Certificate it asks for the Reference Number and Authorization Code. After successfully entering both details the CSP selection has to be done as mentioned on the web page in the Web Connector. Click on Submit Request button. Page 5 of 14
5. Check List for E-Commerce B2B Minimum requirement for E-Commerce B2B : 1. Computer with Win98,WIN NT,Windows 2000 or higher Operating System. 2. Internet Explorer version 5.5 or above. 3. Legally valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). 4. Internet Connection. Before log-in on ecommerce.ril.com website make sure that. I. Internet connection is available II. Your computer avail all the rights of Admin log-in III. While login to the ecommerce.ril.com e token must be attached with the USB port. IV. Must have installed e token drivers from the resource CD. e-token drivers are downloadable from website: Log on to www.ncodesolutions.com Resource Download Drivers Driver for e-token (Install the RTE_3.60B116 file) V. Make sure that, your have a valid DSC issued by a Certifying Authority (CA) authorized by Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA). You can verify it from.. Internet Explorer Tools Internet Options Content Certificates View of Certificate Certification Path (CCA India [Name of CA] [Name of DSC Holder]) Check the validity of certificate (valid from valid To ) Note:- Date and time of your computer must be matched with current date and time. VI. Disable or Turn off Pop-up blocker from your computer (whenever it is there): Turn off Pop-up blocker from Internet Explorer/Yahoo Toolbar/Google Toolbar/etc.(if available). VII. For renewal of certificate, please inform to (n) Procure team to reset new DSC. Or Contact your RO. VIII. Kindly keep 2-3 days time period margin to get/renew your Digital Signature Certificate. IX. To establish ecommerce.ril.com site as a trusted site, kindly refer FAQ on website. 6. Digital Signature Process for e-commerce B2B RIL Polymer Scenario: One Polymer Agent / Dealer has got Multiple User Ids as per the Divisions in which he is doing Business with RIL. Only One Certificate is required to be purchased for all divisions unless the Identity of the Company is different with different owner name. ecommerce B2B Digital Signature Process: PKI Digital Certificate has been integrated in the existing ecommerce/b2b module with minimal change on the screen For the Agents/Dealer there is only one extra step introduced in the B2B sale order punching process. This extra process takes care of the Physically Signed copy of order status sent to the business. An additional menu Item is available under Reports as Order Confirmation for Digitally Signing the Order Status report. Since the Digital Signature Certificate is available in Token and is non Transferable, all the Orders punched during the day from multiple terminals can be Signed from a single machine with Crypto Token on USB drive. The Digitally signed records would appear in the Signed Order Status report. Unsigned data would be available in Order Confirmation Transaction. Till Digital Signature in Implemented across all Agents and Dealers both mode of transactions will be available for the Agents. Pre Registration and Mapping of DSC to your User ID When the user types in the Login ID, the application checks if any certificate is already attached with the user or not. If no certificate is attached then an alert message shows up with the message: No Certificate Registered with the Login ID provided! Page 7 of 14
Please select the certificate and proceed. In case, you don't have any certificate, please contact the Administrator. And a certificate if installed in the client machine shows up as below. The user then has to select the certificate and then proceed to provide his password and login. Once this registration process is done, the system will always take the same certificate with the Login ID, otherwise it will throw error saying that the certificate mapped is not matching. ecommerce B2B Order Confirmation The user now has the option to sign the order status data, by checking the checkboxes against the orders, so that more than 1 order can be signed at a single time. The user just has to select the certificate a single time for multiple signatures. Once all the Orders are placed from single or multiple machines, the Agent can Plug in the e-token and click on the Order Confirmation Link for Digitally Signing the Orders Placed for the day. B2B Order Confirmation Screen User clicks the Order Confirmation link to go to the Order Confirmation Screen. On clicking the link Users get a Declaration, which they have to agree if they want to digitally sign the data. In case the user selects I Do Not Agree then the user is sent to the Order Status page otherwise the Order Confirmation Screen shows up. The user has to select the dates and click on Submit to get the Orders pending for Confirmation. Page 10 of 14

A pop up window displays the Digital signature available on the e-token for signing. On Selecting the Valid certificate another window is displayed prompting for the password of the e-token.
