Stockholm is a beautiful city filled with beautiful people. It s big enough to feel like a real city but doesn t have the uncomfortable extremes I ve experienced in London or New York. It s surrounded by nature, so it s easy to get a change of pace for the weekend. The people are courteous and polite, too. It s a great place to live. Sam Norton Turbomachinery Aeromechanical University Training If you have financial concerns about studying in Sweden: Yes, Stockholm can be a bit expensive, but no, it s not going to be big problem. If you re thinking about studying at KTH, I say get out of your comfort zone and do it. You ll be in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, meeting with new people, doing exciting things, and maybe figuring out who you are in the process. Emirhan Ilhan Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering KTH is known mostly as an engineering school but it has excellent natural sciences programmes, too. If you re interested in medical or human genetics and looking for a Master s programme, the Medical Biotechnology programme might be a wise choice. Zahra Mavajian Medical Biotechnology
