Q1: How to check the product Driver whether has been installed successfully in Device Manager and where to find the version of it? (DVB-T323U) A1:Please find My Computer and right click on it to choose Manage in the start menu. In the left pane you will find Device Manager,please expand the plus Sound, video and game controllers, you will get USB DVB-T Hybrid Device. Please right click the device and choose properties. In the Driver page, the V5.7.112.0 is the Driver version.
Q2: How to check the Remote Control function whether can work normally? (DVB-T323U) A2: First, the Product Driver and included Application must be installed successfully in PC. Then, check the below items: 1) Check the battery of Remote Control: Please try to change a new batter to keep the battery of Remote Control is enough to use. The Remote Sensor must be connected strongly to the right jack of TV stick. 2) You have to check if the Remote Control utility is installed or not. Please refer to Fig.1. 3) You can check if the Remote Control tray icon is loaded in the right-bottom of task bar. Please refer to Fig.2. Fig.1 Fig.2
Q3: May I use the Microsoft Media Center to watch analog TV with the TV stick? (PVR-TV303URF/PVR-TV305UDE/DVB-T323U/IPTV UB310) A3: 1) Install the MCE Encoder (MPEG2 Encoder) program from package CD Disk and reboot PC. See the Fig.3. 2) Install any Multimedia program which has the MPEG2 Decoder. (Windows MCE2005) The Windows MCE2005 doesn t provide the MPEG2 codec. You must find the Multimedia program which has the MPEG2 Decoder as the CyperLink Power DVD before run the TV setup of Windows Media Center. 3) Update and Install all necessary HotFix files form the Microsoft Windows Update website for Windows Media Center program. Fig.3 You can change the Setting option of the Remote Control program in the desktop task bar to switch the remote function of Windows Media Center.
Q4:How to record files with MPEG4 format?(hypermedia Center) A4: Before you begin, please download Divx codec from internet. Step1. Hypermedia Center only supports MPEG4 (Divx) format. Divx website: http://www.divx.com/ Please use Divx v5.05 or Divx v6.8.2.8. Step2. Install the Divx codec. Step3. In Hypermedia Center, please select TV Setting Recording setting to select the MPEG4 (Divx) format. Step4. Click return to complete the MPEG4 settings. Now you can record files with MPEG4 (Divx) format.
Q5: I get black and white TV screen, how to solve it?(hypermedia Center) A5: In HyperMedia Center, Please select TV Settings TV settings Run setup wizard to scan the channel.
Q6:How to use the diagnostic tool(amcap) to check Analog TV? (PVR-TV303URF/PVR-TV305U/PVR-TV305UDE/DVB-T323U/IPTV UB310) A6: 1) TV Signal and Connection: Please check the hardware connection first. The signal of TV cable whether is normal and have be connected to USB TV stick strongly. Please try to connection the same TV signal to TV to check the TV signal is fine. 2) Please download the diagnostic tool AMCAP as the below link. ftp://ftp.kworld.com.tw/kworld/tool/amcap/amcap_usbaudio.zip Please close all others running Application, the HyperMedia Center also needs to be closed). After downloading, please extract the file and launch AMCAP. (The window will be shown as below.) If the AMCAP window is not shown as above, rather than below, please confirm setting in a few places.
Step1: If your USB Stick is installed correctly, you will see USB 2883 Device under the Devices menu. Step2: Please click on Options and select Preview if it hasn t been selected already.
Step3: Please click on Options and select TV Tuner, than you will see the main window as shown below: Step4: If you can t see the window as shown in the above, it means the USB stick is malfunctioning. Or, if you can see this window but in the boxed area, status is shown as unlocked, please click-on AutoTune on the left side of the TV Tuner Property Page to scan the channels. Afterward, if the status is still shown as unlocked, it means the USB stick is malfunctioning and hasn t been installed properly. Please restart the system and re-plug the USB stick into the same slot again. If problem persist, please proceed to the next step. Please unplug the USB stick, remove the driver and reboot the PC. Try to install everything using a different USB slot.
Q7:I cannot get a recorded file over 4GB, why?(all) A7: If the file system of the HDD partition that recorded files used to store is FAT32, one single file cannot be over 4GB. That is the limitation of the Microsoft FAT file system. Please change the storage location to the HDD partition with NTFS file system. Q8: Execute the HyperMedia Center, the error message pop-up Cannot set capture device (1000),how to fix it?(hypermedia Center) A8: 1. Please check the USB2.0 TV stick whether be installed (inserted) strongly in USB jack when you start to install driver. You must insert the same USB jack in every time of using. 2. Please check the driver of your Graphic card sound card and USB2.0 TV stick whether had been installed successfully in Device Manager. 3. If the above two item is affirmative, please try to reinstall the application (HyperMediaCenter) again. (Please make sure the previous HyperMediaCenter had been un-installed completely, and restart system before reinstall (HyperMediaCenter).
Q9:I get a lot of fuzzy screen, how to solve it?(analog series) A9: 1) Please confirm the TV signal is connected with a splitter or not. Please try to directly connect the TV signal to the TV stick without splitter. 2) There are two type of the coaxial cable, one is 50Ω the other is 75Ω, please make sure the cable is 75Ω. 3) Please try to update the Graphic card Driver to latest version or use extra Graphic card to improve the video quality.
Q10:When execute the HyperMedia Center, the error message Invalid Class Strings pop-up? How to solve it?(all) A10: There are a lot of third parties release Codec packs such as K-Lite Codec Pack ACE Mega Codec Pack Professional Nimo Codec Pack 5.0 Build 8, and so on. These packs contain a lot of Direct show filter and come from different source. Some of them will cause conflict and make the application error. Then the Invalid Class String will show. We take K-Lite Codec Pack for example and marks the conflict component, please don t install them.
Q11: I've finished the TV scanned process, find only few channels. I have coax cable TV, and I get more channels on my other TV. How can I do? (Analog series) A11: Please check the Source input option of HyperMediaCenter whether be select the Antenna" option? If yes, please select the Cable option instead it and execute the channel scanned process again to fix this problem.
Q12: The language setting of the HyperMedia Center is incorrect, how to correct it? (HyperMeida Center) A12: Please follow the below path to correct this problem. The Main Menu option Setting => General Settings =>Multi-Language Option => English, switch the correct language. Then the HyperMedia Center UI (User Interface) language will be showed correctly.
Q13: How to uninstall all of device driver and software utility? (All) A13: You can select the below ways to remove the Driver or related software utilities. 1) You can put the installation CD into CD-ROM device to execute Quick Uninstallation to Uninstall the Driver/Software. 2) You can also follow the step (Start All Programs KWorld Multimedia Uninstallation) to Uninstall the Driver/Software. Please refer to Fig.4 Fig.4
Q14: When I install the Application, the pop window show the old Version Application has existed already, it must be removed first before reinstall, how to do it? (All) A14: The Install Wizard will detect HyperMedia version automatically. If you already installed an old Version, it will pop-up a warning window. Please click Yes to continue. Otherwise click No to reverse current version Application and install new driver. Q15:How to use the LiveUpdate icon?(all) A15: Double click on LiveUpdate icon, then please follow the on-screen instructions to update the latest Driver/AP via internet.
Q16:I cannot use the Close Caption and Teletext, why? (PVR-TV303URF/PVR-TV305U/PVR-TV305UDE/DVB-T323U) A16: The Close Caption or Teletext function is depended on the receive TV signal. If the TV signal doesn t transfer it, you won t get the function to use. Note: The USB TV stick doesn t support the Teletext function. That is the hardware limitation. Q17:May I carry the TV USB stick to go abroad and use? A17: For Analog TV, the TV USB stick supports worldwide analog TV system. If you carry the tuner card to different country, you can watch the local analog TV. For Digital TV, the TV USB stick only supports the DVB-T signal area to receive the local DVB-T Digital channels.
Q18: Cannot scan any/all Digital channel after finishing Digital channel scanned process? A18: 1) Please check Digital antenna are connected to the USB TV stick properly, and put the antenna to the place where have great signal accepting, and scan again. 2) You can try to connect household Antenna (must support UHF/VHF). Remember adjust the antenna to face the digital broadcast transmitter. Or 3) Please check whether your motherboard supports the USB2.0 format or not first. And please confirm the USB Driver was installed properly. Please go to Device Manager => Universal Serial Bus Controllers, check below word Enhanced in red. If there is no Enhanced in your Device Manager, it means your motherboard only supports USB 1.1 or the USB2.0 function doesn t be enabled in BIOS setting.
Q19: When run HyperMedia Center program, it appears Error on Event 900 and Cannot pin, so it cannot work ($80040209). How to solve the problem? (All) A19: Please adjust the Hardware acceleration. Follow below steps to setup. Step1. Please click right button on your desktop and select properties. Please choose settings => Advanced.
Step2. Select Troubleshoot =>adjust the Hardware acceleration.
Q20: When run HyperMedia Center program, it appears Cannot render Mpeg2 Demux filter error message. How to fix the issue? (Digital series) A20: When you run the program, it appears Cannot render MPRG2 Demux filter, please help us check below information: 1) Please check whether install others products in the same PC? If yes, please uninstall others product Driver and Application. 2) Please check whether your motherboard supports the USB2.0 format or not first. And please confirm the USB Driver was installed properly. Please go to Device Manager => Universal Serial Bus Controllers, check below word Enhanced in red. If there is no Enhanced in your Device Manager, it means your motherboard only supports USB 1.1 or the USB2.0 function doesn t be enabled in BIOS setting. 3) Application run error or Product Driver doesn t be installed properly. Please try to uninstall software, restart operating system and re-install again. 4) Please check the PC Microsoft DirectX version whether is the 9.0C above. 5) If you have other computer, you can try to install the USB stick in other PC as well to check whether it is the operating system confuse problem.
